Thought For The Day: Oct. 29, 2020 “A Little Work”

As we navigate our path we encounter obstacles (our quote calls them “rocks”). These obstacles offer us a choice. Do we step on or over them OR do we let them stop us. If the rocks in your path have created a wall then dismantle it. One rock at a time and build a path, a bridge or even stairs. Don’t be afraid of a little hard work because after all your dreams are worth it!

Rocks. Unless you have the courage to step on them you will never know if they are
obstacles or stepping stones.

Every so often it’s necessary to take stock of where we are on our path. I call this a “self-check”. Ask yourself these questions:

*Am I happy in the direction my life is taking me?

*Am I doing things that I love or am I just going through the motions.

*Am I doing things for ME or am I doing things to make others happy?

Remember that your life is yours to create and that your wants and needs are important. if something isn’t working for you then take action and change it. You are the only one who can!

If you grant forgiveness to yourself (and you should always do that) use it as a new beginning. Make changes and do things differently.
