Spirit Library: Overcoming Fears (a message from Kate Spreckley)
With the mix of intense energies and retrograde planetary alignments life is pretty intense right now. The energies are unrelenting as they move to illuminate the deep fears that block our life helping us to resolve old karmic patterns.
ThoughtCo: Bone Divination
The use of bones for divination, sometimes called osteomancy, has been performed by cultures the world over for thousands of years. While there are a number of different methods, the purpose is typically the same – to foretell the future utilizing the messages displayed in the bones.
MBG: What Is A Karmic Relationship? 15 Common Signs & How To Escape
Ever wondered if your relationship was meant to be? It may have been—but that doesn’t necessarily mean the two of you are soulmates. It could be a karmic relationship. Here’s a look into what a karmic relationship is, plus the common signs you might be in one.
Today’s DIY: DIY Rose Oil for Skin, Hair, Nails
Elephant Journal: Maybe you Aren’t Enough & maybe you Need to Make Peace with that.
These past several months, I’ve done a lot of feeling like I’m incompetent.
Not enough in my career. Not enough in my romance. Not enough as a daughter. The list goes on. It’s about as long as you could imagine.
Treehugger: How to Make Rose Water
You only need two ingredients to make rose water: rose petals and water. Yet, a four-ounce bottle of rose water can cost $10 or more. Making your own rose water is easy to do, and if you grow your own roses (or have a friend who can give you some) it’s free to make. (And even if you do buy some roses, it will still be less expensive.)
EarthSky News: Moon and Antares in early July
These next few evenings – July 1 and 2, 2020 – let the moon introduce you to Antares. It’s a red star and the brightest star in the constellation Scorpius the Scorpion. Look first for the moon, and the nearby bright star will be Antares.
Patheos-Pagan: Liminal Gateways & Porous Boundaries
My first magickal name was “Milamber.” I’m not proud of this, but I also don’t mind making fun of my much younger Witch-self which is why I’m OK sharing that particular anecdote with you. There’s very little trace of “Milamber” today in my practice or workings, but the name still exists on the inside covers of some of my earliest books.
Pagan Playlist: Pan’s Lullaby – Erutan
“I never know what the next lesson is going to be, because we’re not supposed to know; we’re supposed to trust ourselves to discover it.”
— Melody Beattie
How deeply do you trust your own guidance?
Always trust that you know what’s best for you. To move forward in your life, gather information from the ‘experts,’ consider how their advice relates to your situation and then act only on what feels right for you. What does your whole being (mind, body and soul) say ‘Yes!’ to?
You are the only expert for your own life.
“I trust so much in the power of the heart and the soul; I know that the answer to what we need to do next is in our own hearts. All we have to do is listen, then take that one step further and trust what we hear. We will be taught what we need to learn.”
— Melody Beattie
“Ultimately, we must learn to trust ourselves. When we do this intimately and intelligently, the world opens full of meaning before us. We find that we ourselves are the doorway to a fathomless understanding of the source of life itself. We need only to learn to walk through it.”
— James Thornton
A Note from the Universe
Do it your way and you’ll win the attention, and the respect, of the whole world.
Not that you need it.

Everyone in Hawaii has their own version of fried rice. This is my own version of fried rice that the locals ate in Hawaii.

“All gardeners live in beautiful places because they make them so.”
-Joseph Joubert (1754-1824)
This I’m looking at “gardening” in the bigger sense of the word. There’s a reason why we understand the philosophy: ‘You reap what you sow’ – in gardening nothing is more true! When we plant radishes, we can’t expect gardenias to spring up. This life is our garden, and we can tend to it, and make it a beautiful place to be.
Daily Tarot: Wheel of Fortune
Restlessness and boredom could slow you down and take you off on some unintended tangent. If you can’t break free of the usual routine today, do what’s necessary and perhaps schedule more delicate tasks for another time when it will be easier to be precise and attend to details. Know your own limits and if possible don’t take on something that will only frustrate you. If you must, start slow.
