Happy Monday and welcome to a new week!

Intuition is something we all have to a greater or lesser degree, it’s our personal guidance system.   Instinctively we just “know” if something  does or doesn’t feel right. The key to intuition lies in paying attention to it when it speaks to you. Man, if I had a dollar for every time someone said ” I had a hunch about that, I just wish I had listened to it.”  The point is to never be afraid to listen and trust the vibes. Those vibes can keep you safe or even bring you great joy……………… are you listening?

Happy Friday and TGIF!

Positive or negative our attitude shapes how we see our lives, the world ourselves and others.  By doing our best to navigate our path with positive intent we are able to create the life  we want. It enables us to clearly see our blessings and appreciate life’s “Tiny Miracles”.  Remember, you ARE worthy of good things and your power as a creator can help you achieve the impossible!

Happy Thursday, the skies have cleared, the rain has passed and of course the hummingbirds are happily taunting the cats through the window!

Life is complicated for most people. When we are faced with what life throws at us we quite often make things harder than they should be. We over think, over analyze and overreact which complicates things even further and can cause us a great deal of stress.

The key is in looking for simple solutions, and there is always at least one. It’s called the K.I.S.S principle, an acronym created by the US Navy in 1960. “Keep It Simple Silly” (aka keep it simple stupid, keep it short and simple, keep it simple and straightforward)  is a reminder to embrace simplicity and avoid creating complications.

When issues crop up today just blow them a K.I.S.S!

Happy Tuesday, I’m sitting here with my coffee and listening to the dawn chorus welcome the new day. This is something I do just for me, it brings me joy and helps me enter the day in peace with myself and the Universe. Try to do something for yourself everyday, something that makes you happy and peaceful. This does not make you selfish. It helps us to ground and center. It gives us a little down time before getting back to the “real world”. Don’t treat yourself as an afterthought, treat yourself like the important being that you are!

Happy Monday and welcome to a new week!

In my humble opinion life’s simple pleasures don’t receive enough recognition. It’s often the simple things that people take for granted that can bring us the most healing and peace. my husband and I spend a lot of time desert crawling, just getting out and enjoying the day. Yesterday we were treated to seeing a rain storm roll in over Colorado National Monument. But my simple pleasure for the day involved meadowlarks. The air was filled with their song and it filled my spirit with joy.

What are your simple pleasures?

Happy Thursday, the end of the week is in sight! Don’t laugh… it’s true….. 😉

The power of laughter is a wonderful thing and is a gift that we can share with others. You can also share it with yourself. For years people thought I was odd because I could find the humor in any situation. What they didn’t realize is that sometimes just laughing is the only thing you can do. When faced with a problem or situation I have found that by finding some humor in it and laughing acts like a reset button for your brain.. just something to think about… or laugh as the case may be!

Happy Wednesday, looks like we’ve made it to the middle of the week, HIGH FIVE!

Walking away , whether it’s a relationship, a job, a place or an activity, requires courage. It also requires self respect. People know when something needs to be changed or isn’t working out. Unfortunately we tend to hang on to things after it’s “shelf life has expired” so to speak. You deserve to be happy and this letting go process creates room  for new adventures!

Happy Tuesday!

Being “present” is something that I have been thinking about lately. You see lack of presence everywhere. Restaurants are perfect examples, people sit at tables  and ignore each other while texting on their phones. It’s pretty sad if you think about it. The message it sends is  “I may be here with you but what going on on my mobile device is more interesting and important to me than you are.” Healthy relationships are built on communication which requires presence. Share your presence with those you love today, unplug and really be there, you won’t regret it!

Good Morning & TGIF! After yesterday’s mixed bag of rain, wind, hail and snow (Welcome to spring in Colorado) we have clear skies. The lesson here is that even when things are stormy we will always see the sun again Nature provide us with valuable insight if we just pay attention. So let’s kick things off with some Advice From a Lake….

Happy Thursday, we received some much needed rain last night, there are buds on my iris and cactus….sweet!

Sometimes we are so busy that we fail to see all the good things we have going for us. Take a moment today to acknowledge the blessings in your life. Thank you! Those two words are in essence a simple form of prayer. They are non-denominational, easy to remember and can often express much more than a long winded explanation.  Embrace gratitude and be at peace!
