There, on the black bough of a snow-flecked maple,
Fearless and gay as our love,
A bluejay cocked his crest!
Oh who can tell the range of joy
Or set the bounds of beauty?

OM Times: Using Energetic Techniques for Emotional Detoxing
We often hear about detoxing our physical bodies. It is usually a 2 – 7-day process that we undertake to help the body to rid itself of toxins and impurities that tend to slow our natural cleansing processes down.
But, how often do we think about emotional detoxing? Our emotions are a fine-tuned, well-balanced set of processes, which are not only chemically induced, but mentally charged.

MNN: 10 of the world’s most wondrous natural arches
Few of Earth’s formations seem to suggest an intelligent creator quite like natural arches and bridges do. But it is precisely the fact that they were molded by the delicate hands of a heedless, indifferent sculptor — Mother Nature — that make them so awe-inspiring, like the Delicate Arch in Utah. Perhaps the beauty of natural arches comes from how improbable they seem.

“Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake. Let us use it before it is too late.”
So many times excuses are made that keep us from doing what we want to do, or keep us from doing what is best for us to do. Waiting is a prolonged excuse that is made to cover up the thoughts of not being enough. This is faulty thinking. It is important to do things that make you smile every day.
How much of what you are doing today is what you have chosen to do? How much of your day is spent filling obligations or requests from others? Today make sure you schedule in some time for yourself. Do something that is a self-project. Now scheduled some time into your days throughout this year and into next. Make sure your life is filled with you. Do something for yourself every single day.
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

Inner Journey
“If there are so many seekers, why are there so few finders?”
Perhaps we’ve misunderstood the whole concept of a spiritual journey. The term ‘seeker’ means we are looking for something we believe we do not have now. It places all hope on the future because as a seeker, we haven’t yet found our salvation.
Tolle encourages us to experience the truth of who we are by being present right now. If we do that, we don’t have to seek anything. We already have everything and can relax and rejoice in the power of being.
“There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the present moment. A man’s whole life is a succession of moment after moment. If one fully understands the present moment, there will be nothing else to do, and nothing else to pursue.”

“Intelligence is not something possessed once for all. It is in constant process of forming, and its retention requires constant alertness in observing consequences, an open-minded will to learn and courage in re-adjustment.”
IQ tests are one measurement of intelligence. It is interesting to note that one person’s score on a test can change, indicating that the person’s intelligence can change. We can actually teach ourselves to think smarter. One way to do this is through meditation, tapping into the wisdom of the universe.
