Daily Dream Meaning: Egyptian
1. Dreaming of living in ancient Egypt might actually be a past-life memory. Be sure to write the dream down immediately upon awakening, as an issue from that past life could be coming to the surface of your unconscious mind. Something in the dream probably relates to a concern in the present, and the dream may be giving you important insights.
2. Egypt is a land of mystery, and therefore if you dream of Egypt or things Egyptian there is probably some mystery in your life that you’d like to have resolved. Look to other symbols in the dream to discern what it is and what you should do about it.
3. Egypt is a land where a lot of secrets are being dug out of the ground. What secrets are you hiding? Or are others around you keeping things from you that you really need to know? If the other symbols in the dream support this idea, honest communication with those involved is definitely called for.

EarthSky News: Meet Corvus the Crow
A favorite constellation for many, little squarish Corvus the Crow, can be found after sunset at this time of year. It’s not far from Spica, the only bright star in the constellation Virgo. Once you find Spica, you’ll recognize Corvus easily. It’s always near the star Spica on the sky’s dome, recognizable for its compact.

Inner Journey:
Willingness to change
“At any moment, you have a choice, that either leads you closer to your spirit or further away from it.”
— Thich Nhat Hahn
How are you feeling in this moment? If you are not feeling great, are you willing to make the effort right now to shift your focus so you feel better? Finding something to appreciate will do it.
If you are not willing, that’s okay. Don’t judge yourself. Just be aware that you are choosing to stay where you are.
“Choice of attention… is to the inner life what choice of action is to the outer. In both cases, a man is responsible for his choice and must accept the consequences, whatever they may be.”
— W.H. Auden

Thinking
“In this world, if a man sits down to think, he is immediately asked if he has the headache.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
A little bit of humor from Emerson, a favorite of mine! His point is that we are so much on “auto pilot” that we rarely take time out just to think. There is a lot of busy-ness, or business, going on, all the time, and we tend to jump right from one thing to the next with barely a breath in between. How rare, and yet, how wonderful, to take a moment, or two, or twenty, to just sit and think.

Daily Tarot: The Moon
It’s possible that you’re putting yourself under more stress and pressure than anyone or anything else going on around you. It’s not necessary to beat yourself up emotionally like this. Things are fine and you can make things even better if you curtail the urge to obsessively dwell on only what and who is letting you down. Be your own best friend and give yourself credit for what you’re doing right.
