This week our quotes will consist of advice from nature. We can learn a lot about ourselves by observing the natural world.
The ocean is truly magical. The sound, the feel, the smell all awaken something deep inside us. As we stand in the surf we can feel her pull within the deepest primal recesses of our being. Mother Ocean invokes a myriad of feelings and emotions. As a mother she creates and nurtures life. She teaches us about strength, beauty, life, and death. She shows us how to go with the flow and how to move with life’s tides. Let the music of the ocean sooth your heart and spirit. Hear her song…..
Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.
Blessings, Cat

Spirit Library: The Great Mystery (a message from Kate Spreckley)
Individually and collectively we are in a time of destruction and reconstruction. The foundation of our life is transforming to hold a new energetic matrix.
The love goddess of the Greeks, Aphrodite, usually made other people fall in love (or lust, more often than not), but sometimes she, too, was smitten. In this story of Adonis and Aphrodite, which comes from the tenth book of, the Roman poet Ovid summarizes Aphrodite’s ill-fated love affair with Adonis.
Humans like to think of themselves as a faithful species, but when it comes to true fidelity, many other animals offer better examples of how to keep a relationship together
The mythologist Joseph Campbell poetically stated, “The power of life causes the snake to shed its skin, just as the moon sheds its shadow.” When the moon turned new on July 20, 2020, the moon’s shadowed side totally faced Earth, while its illuminated side totally faced the sun.

Inner Journey:
WHY MEDITATE?
“Meditation brings wisdom; lack of meditation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.”
— Buddha
Meditation is considered an essential practice for those who seek self-knowledge and self-mastery. Why? Basically, meditation brings awareness of how our minds work. Over time, we become watchers, able to detach from the thoughts and emotions that play out in our minds.
With this detachment, we gain the freedom to choose whether or not to act on our thoughts and emotions. We learn to distinguish between objective reality and our mental and emotional dramas.
“Only in quiet waters things mirror themselves undistorted. Only in a quiet mind is adequate perception of the world.”
— Hans Margolius

A Note from the Universe
If you knew of a spectacular mountain that was very, very tall, yet climbable. And if it was well established that from its peak, you could literally see all the love that bathes the world, dance with the angels, and party with the gods. Would you curse or celebrate each step you took as you ascended it?
Right-o!
Life is that mountain and each day a step.
Perspectives change everything,

Problems/Solutions
“Clinging to the past is the problem. Embracing change is the answer.”
-Gloria Steinem
Sometimes it might look like change is the problem. But really it’s that we’re making change a problem for ourselves because we are resisting it! Change can be a great solution and can open up all kinds of wonderful opportunities for us. There’s a time when we need to step outside of the boundaries we have created and just go for it!

You might be set up to be the smart one and solve a problem or two for someone else. While it might be your idea of fun to perform and be clever, try to keep things simple, especially if this is a work-related issue. It will cost you little or no effort and win you a lot of admiration, and maybe some monetary reward later.

Mind Body Green:
4 Nature-Based Spiritual Rituals (Because Spring Is Just Around The Corner)
Grief isn’t something you can think your way through. It is instead an experience you must feel your way through. As a psychic intuitive, I regularly help clients who are grieving a lossa marriage that is ending, a career that’s no longer fulfilling, the death of a loved one, or the loss of a specific dream they had for their life.
Experience the peaceful rhythms of the sea with a new moon meditation.
Each New Moon signals the time to reset our inner clocks to nature’s timetable. This is especially true at the annual Cancer New Moon, when we can align our rhythms with the waxing and waning cycles of the Moon. Cancer is a water sign; it is the Moon that measures out the ebb and flow of the ocean’s tides. As old as the moon is the ocean – watery womb and source of life. The inner knowledge of nature’s rhythms is the key to life: to move instinctively in concert with the rise and fall, the emptiness and fullness,
Before Spring was called Spring, it was called Lent in Old English. Starting in the 14th century, that time of year was called springing time, a reference to plants springing from the ground. In the 15th century this got shortened to spring-time, and then further shortened in the 16th century to just spring.

EarthSky News: Moon sweeps past morning planets
This week, using the moon as a guide, you can easily find Jupiter, Mars and Saturn between the hours of midnight and dawn.
If you asked my students what the single greatest game-changer for improving their Magic that they got from my teachings, most of them would say offerings. A lot of you reading this might already be well acquainted with offerings to spirits; some of you are surely initiated into Vodou, Candomble, or another African traditional religion where offerings play a huge role
“The soul requires duration of time — rich, thick, deep, velvety time — and it thrives on rhythm. Soul cant be hurried or harried …. We may go through many events in the day and experience nothing because the soul has not had the opportunity to feel them from many different points of view.”
— Robert Sardello
Soul cannot exist when our connections in life remain superficial. An experience of soul requires that we take time to be fully present to the details of our lives.
Explore what happens when you take the time to STOP and PAY ATTENTION. When we choose to slow down and really experience the qualities of our lives, we get a whole new perspective on what living is all about.
“We must not allow the clock and the calendar to blind us to the fact that each moment of life is a miracle and mystery.”
— H. G. Wells
“The well of Providence is deep. Its the buckets we bring to it that are small.”

Today’s Recipe: Japanese Style Beef and Onions

They grew a massive amount of onions up there, and that is how this recipe came to be.

Love
“We may think of the Divine as a fire whose outgoing warmth pervades the Universe.”-Plotinus
Many people say God IS love. And love certainly pervades the Universe. Love is something we all understand, something we can all relate to. Every mother knows what it means to love a child. Every person is capable of giving and receiving love. In A Course in Miracles, fear is defined as the absence of love. Much like darkness is the absence of light. Let’s light that fire, and light up the world with our outpouring of love!

Spirituality & Health:
Ready to Try Crystal-Infused Water?
BY KATHRYN DRURY WAGNER
Sorry, cucumbers and mint. When it comes to additives for the water pitcher, the latest thing is crystals. And no, I do not mean Crystal Light, the low-cal powdered beverage mix. I mean crystals like minerals in a repeating crystalline molecular pattern. They are a popular energy healing tool, and now they are plunking their way into our water bottles. I took a look at this modish mystical hydration.
