Today’s Message:Intuitive Selection
213: The spark of the Sacred Feminine and the Goddess lives within each of us. The number 13 corresponds to the 13 moons, the Goddess and our own intuition. With the first signs of Spring starting to emerge it’s a great time to get outside and connect with Gaia, the Earth Mother. Look for signs of the new season and let it fill your being with fresh and hopeful energy. The Sacred Feminine offers us guidance and teaches us to use the sacred tool of our own intuition. Self-reliance is built through intuition as is the ability to focus more fully on creating the life we desire. Today we are being asked to use our intuition to select and plant new Thought Seeds. This is the season to start sowing your inner garden with new dream and goals and tend to what you have already planted. You are a powerful creator and it’s time to initiate the next steps on your journey.

Home “A house is no home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as for the body.”
-Margaret Fuller (1845)
A home is more than a place of shelter. It is a place of comfort, a place of peace. This is where we can take refuge from the world, where we can relax, and where we can grow. A home can be a “safe environment” where we can learn without fear of criticism, and where we can explore and express our feelings. The person, or people, inside that space is what makes a house a home.

The scent of this simple, natural “ugly” soap is invigorating and fresh. It’s especially nice to use during the warm weather months. This recipe makes several hand-rolled soap balls, depending on how big (or small) you want them to be. You can also make 2 round or square cakes of soap instead, if you wish.
EarthSky News: Moon in Winter Circle April 10 and 11
For the next few evenings – April 10 and 11, 2019 – look for the moon and Winter Circle (or Winter Hexagon) stars. It’s difficult to convey the humongous size of the Winter Circle that fills our western sky at dusk and nightfall. It even dwarfs the constellation Orion the Mighty Hunter, which makes up the southwest portion of this a great big lasso of 1st-magnitude stars.

MBG: How To Bring More Balance To Your Life With Tonight’s Libra Full Supermoon
Peace, love, and harmony are the order of the day on March 20 (9:43 p.m. EDT), when the Libra full supermoon—the first in a rare, back-to-back pair—shines overhead. This harmonious zodiac sign counts among its ranks John Lennon, Alfred Nobel (of the Nobel Peace Prize) and Gandhi, whose advice to “be the change you wish to see in the world” will feel like the answer to everything under this lunar light
Tetraktys: Ostara Seed Blessing Ritual For Solitary Witches
On the Wheel of the year, Ostara is the celebration of the spring Equinox. This Sabbat marks a point of perfect balance between light and darkness. Past this point, the days will be longer than the nights: we will be into the brightest part of the year. For Wiccans, Ostara is a festival of fertility and light.

Is there anything more exciting than the first promise of spring?
Personally, I am grateful to live in a part of the world where the seasons are clearly demarcated by Nature’s travels around the Wheel of the Year.
As a quick refresher of high school science (which I paid little attention to, I can assure you), let me share the basics of what happens during the Vernal Equinox.
When I brush my dog, especially in spring, I like to do it on the back deck. Depending on how much fluff I gather and how hard the wind is blowing, I often have wandering dog-hair tumbleweeds all over the yard
EarthSky News: Full supermoon at March 2019 equinox
The March 20-21, 2019, full moon ushers in the first full moon of spring for the Northern Hemisphere, and the first full moon of autumn for the Southern Hemisphere. This full moon is also a supermoon, particularly close to Earth. It comes less than four hours after the arrival of the March 20 equinox.

From Chaos to Connection – making the most of your Pagan kids’ egg hunt.
It’s that time again when colorful eggs fill stores, and parents brace for the next sugar high. — Albert Einstein
“We live in a world of theophanies. Holiness comes wrapped in the ordinary. There are burning bushes all around you. Every tree is full of angels. Hidden beauty is waiting in every crumb. Life wants to lead you from crumbsto angels, but this can happen only if you are willing to unwrap the ordinary by staying with it long enough to harvest its treasure.”

Compassion
“Compassion is the desire that moves the individual self to widen the scope of its self-concern to embrace the whole of the universal self.”
-Arnold J. Toynbee (1889-1975)
Compassion moves us beyond our own immediate needs and concerns and shows us how important it is to look at the big picture. We are all in this together. When one of us feels pain it affects the whole. When one of us extends ourselves to ease that pain, the healing reverberates to affect the whole.
