Pagan Playlist: THE VALLEY OF DREAMS – Stive Morgan

“To get to forgiveness, we first have to work through the painful experiences that require it.”
— Christiane Northrup

To forgive, we do not have to say that whatever happened was okay. In fact, before we can forgive, we need to allow ourselves to really feel the pain of the experience. If we don’t fully acknowledge our hurts, we will continue to carry them subconsciously and they will drain our energy.

To forgive, we need to decide that we won’t allow the memories of the event to poison us any longer. We’re ready to heal this wound from the past and open to a fresh new beginning.

The blessing is that when we’re really ready to experience our pain and we open to it, it usually fades away. By honouring our pain, we release it.

“We must let ourselves feel all the painful destruction we want to forgive rather than swallow it in denial. If we do not face it, we cannot choose to forgive it.”
— Kenneth McNoll

A Note from the Universe

Do you know what it sometimes means when you feel a bit bummed out and aren’t sure why?

When you catch yourself looking back over your shoulder and wondering?

When you feel doubt, sense uncertainty, and experience fear?

When you sometimes wonder what’s taking so long?

It means you’re normal.

May 17, 2021

“Man’s main task in life is to give birth to himself.”

-Erich Fromm (1900-1980)

This is it. It’s like the butterfly. First it is given birth as a caterpillar. And then it transforms, it gives birth to itself as a butterfly. We are very much the same. We are born into this body, and then we discover who we really are, we transform ourselves into who we want to be. And then we can fly

Daily Tarot: Strength

It may be fun to take a risk or two, but this is not the day for it. You can fight your way through any difficulty, but why make work for yourself or put yourself in harm’s way? Remember, harm comes in more forms than just what is physical. If you need to blow off steam and exert your power, maybe take it to the gym.

Daily Wisdom
August 5, 2020

“There’s a thread that binds all of us together, pull on one end of the thread, the strain is felt all down the line.”

-Rosamond Marshall, 1943

We have an inherent obligation to help out. When someone is in pain, that hurt affects more than just that one person. By reaching out, by showing compassion, by doing whatever we can to ease the burden, we make it better for all of us. Love lifts, love heals, love lightens. Whether it’s right here at home, or across the world, there are so many opportunities to make a difference.

-Lissa Coffey

Daily Tarot: Death

A change has been in the air for some time and today the actual transformation could happen. There’s nothing to be afraid of, or to dread, or to fear losing. Room is being made and energy is being set aside for something new and better for you. It could be something small or something large, but whatever it is will be meaningful and affect your daily life.
