As children, we believe in magic. However, as we get older most lose that sense of wonder in favor of the material world.  While there is magic to be found there it is not the same as the magic found in nature, the strange and unusual, or even the small simple things. Today, look for things that inspire you to believe in magic and that ignites your sense of wonder!

Thought For The Day: April 28, 2020 “No Excuses”

Happy Tuesday,

People complain about not having enough time. While it’s true that we are busy creatures its also true that we have the ability to control how we use our time. We waste time every day on things that we don’t need to. Things that we do just because we feel obligated to continue doing them and things that no longer have meaning, or even bring us joy. In the end, we use these things as an excuse for not doing something that’s actually more fulfilling or important. Today’s challenge is in weeding these things out and making room for other and better things.

The things that we consider to be “really important” change quite often, even during the course of a day. Today’s Quote asks us to examine these things regularly. Every day we do things that are no longer important or even relevant to our current goals or situations. Sometimes we continue to do them because we feel like we have to. Free up some time today by eliminating something that is no longer important and replace it with something that is. Remember that as we change so do what’s really important to us!
