No Limits: Cat’s Angel Message for December 7, 2018

December’s Theme: Pay close attention to recurring thoughts and ideas. These messages and clues will assist you to make improvements in your life. Taking action will aid in manifestation.

Don’t Limit Your Challenges… Challenge Your Limits. – Anonymous

127:  Today a window will open which will allow us more manifestation power. The key to this window lies in your belief in yourself and your abilities. The Universe and your angels are also here to help you. Their message to us today: “Do not be afraid of being challenged. These challenges may test your faith but will make you stronger and help you on your path. ” Take time to re-affirm your goals and needs and infuse them with positive intent. Remember to also pay attention to any repetitive thoughts/ideas that you have as well as any divine guidance that you receive. Keep in mind that even though the results may not be visible to you yet the wheels are turning and things are happening. As we continue to make space and replace negatives with positives we find ourselves on the upswing.

Archangel Sandalphon helps to deliver and answer our prayers while the Archangel Raziel helps us to manifest the things we need. The Ascended Master Serapis Bey helps us to release our troubles and concerns and offers clear guidance and motivation regarding our own self improvement. And the Yoruban Goddess Oya embodies the winds of change. ” My child change must be embraced, not ignored or simply put up with. Allow these changes to inspire and encourage you to transcend your self imposed limitations.”

Our Sacred Stone for today is Chrysocolla. This powerful blue-green stone helps us during periods of change and challenging times. It brings smooth transitions and helps us to accept change with serenity and calm. It helps us to be more self aware and promotes self confidence that inspires both creativity and motivation.

Bright blessings for a magickal day!

And Phillida, with garlands gay,
Was made the Lady of the May.
-Nicholas Breton (1545-1626)

“How fair doth Nature
Appear again!
How bright the sunbeams!
How smiles the plain!
The flow’rs are bursting
From ev’ry bough,
And thousand voices
Each bush yields now.
And joy and gladness
Fill ev’ry breast!
Oh earth!–oh sunlight!
Oh rapture blest!
Oh love! oh loved one!”
– Goethe, May Song

MNN: Why we should live our lives more like sloths do

‘Life in the Sloth Lane’ embraces a slower, more mindful approach

Sloths  they’re the adorable, slow-moving mammals that many people have grown to love. These peaceful animals can also teach us a thing or two about how we should live our lives, according to zoologist Lucy Cooke  author of “Life in the Sloth Lane: Slow Down and Smell the Hibiscus,” a photo book filled with inspirational quotes about embracing and enjoying life

Cooke spoke with MNN about her love and commitment to sloths, and why they’re one of her favorite animals.

A Bountiful Moment

Daily Thought: Take each new day as an opportunity to learn something new. Challenge yourself. Learn to become comfortable with the unknown by looking at it as a chance to grow. Not only will this keep you moving forward toward achieving things you never thought possible it will also help keep you young.

Daily Practice: Challenge yourself today by trying or learning something new. It can be as simple as learning a new word to as challenge as training to run a marathon. Put this practice on repeat and make sure to incorporate into your daily routine.

Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

MNN: Why you should grow a lawn for bees

If your landscape goal is to have the perfect lawn, who is it for? Yourself? Your neighbors? If the answer is both, perhaps you should expand your definition of neighbors and rise to a different challenge: Try growing a perfect lawn for bees.

EarthSky News: May guide to the bright planets

Jupiter rules! This month, it shines at its brightest best for 2018 and is out all night. Venus blazes in early evening. Saturn and Mars rise late and ornament the predawn hours.

Patheos-Pagan: Sensual Healing Bath Ritual For Beltane

Beltane is often thought of as a sensual, sexual holiday. There may be expectations of mingling with others, celebration, dancing, and intimacy. If you’re single, solitary, or just not feeling that celebratory/sensual, you might be feeling left out. Celebrating Beltane doesn’t have to be a wild romp in the woods. It can be on your own terms. I created this solitary healing bath ritual to heal and to honor where you are at this point in your life and at Beltane.

Inner Journey: Speak Kindly To Yourself

“What is this self inside us, this silent observer, Severe and speechless critic, who can terrorize us, And urge us on to futile activity, And in the end, judge us still more severely, For the errors into which his own reproaches drove us?”
— T. S. Eliot

How do you talk to yourself? Would you talk that way to anyone else?

Our thoughts create our reality. How do you typically think about yourself? Do you berate yourself for being stupid, sloppy, forgetful or insensitive? Do you watch yourself with interest, respect and compassion? Stay alert to your self-talk and let go of judgments that don’t serve you.

“Self-acceptance is my refusal to be in an adversarial relationship to myself.”
— Nathaniel Branden

A Note from the Universe

Little is more impressive, inspirational, or sexy,  than watching someone in the throes of action, driven by purpose, oblivious to all but their aim.

Today has your name all over it –

Today’s Recipe: Fruity Sangria

This adult party drink can be made with a combination of fresh fruit and red wine.

I made this for a summer party just after harvesting my cherry tree. Many people loved it but some thought it was too sour. You may want to consider increasing the sugar if you like it sweet. It is a strong and fruity flavor so be sure to adjust the ratios to best suit your tastes.

Daily Wisdom
May 1, 2018

“The only way to have a friend is to be one.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Friendship is ours to give. It is a gift that multiplies when it comes back to us. Friends help us to be more of who we are, they help us to feel our connection to the world. With the support of friends we can achieve more, enjoy more, and appreciate more. And we can do the same for our friends! Friendship works both ways.

-Lissa Coffey

“The fair maid who, the first of May
Goes to the fields at break of day
And washes the dew from the hawthorn tree
Will ever after handsome be.”
– Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme

Tying Up Loose Ends: Cat’s Angel Message for April 9, 2018

April Theme:  We are being challenged to change ourselves. You have the power to make things happen and the Universe is on your side.

It is the loose ends with which men hang themselves. – Zelda Fitzgerald

49:  Today the Universe is telling us that this is a good day to work on any incomplete projects or things that you’ve been putting off. By making time to tie up  these loose ends we are clearing the way for new growth and increased abundance. The same goes for things that you may tried and didn’t quite work out. If it’s something that has meaning to you it’s a good time to reexamine it and find what DID work and move on from there. Remember that this month is all about “Challenging Yourself” and embracing your power as a creator.  Your spiritual support system is taking care of you. If you need help with creative solutions, focus or direction just ask. Grounding and centering before getting started will help the messages that you receive to come through more clearly. Making the most of today will benefit you in the near future.

Our spiritual helpers today include the Ascended Master Solomon. Solomon teaches us how to do things more efficiently.  If your project requires the assistance of others, Archangel Raguel helps to promote cooperation and group harmony. Ascended Master Vywamus (the higher-self aspect of Sanat Kumara) gives us inspiration and encouragement and the Hawaiian Goddess Pele helps us with setting and achieving our goals.

Along with our spiritual helpers we also have the following Sacred Stones: Amethyst brings success in your endeavors. Emerald promotes cooperation and  Calcite combats laziness and replaces it with motivation.

Thought For The Day: March 12, 2018 “Breaking Routine”

Happy Monday,

Our thought for the day is about routine. We all have certain things that we do everyday without fail. While being stuck in a routine isn’t a problem per say  it does  keep us closed off from experiencing new things.  As you go through your routine today challenge yourself to do one thing different.  Maybe you take a walk during lunch instead of staying tied to your phone. Or go someplace that you’ve never been before. There are tons of possibilities! The point is to just do something different today. Remember….. variety is the spice of life!
