Thought For The Day: Oct. 22, 2019 “Stuck In The Dungeon”

Happy Tuesday,

Yesterday we talked about bad days and when bad things happen. These things are simply part of life. However, there are times when our brains get caught up in them and we find ourselves stuck in the dungeon of our own minds. And yes, sometimes it’s hard to get clear of it and we go through a period of being down on ourselves. You can fight it and you can beat it. Find your reset button (we all have one), find someone to talk to, scream, cry,  go for a walk and feel the sun and wind or just ground, center and clear. Above all look for a new perspective and indulge in a little self care. You are strong and can do this!

Sometimes life doesn’t take us where we originally dreamed it would. Life contains ups and downs and paths that wander hither and yon. It offers us a chance to experience the good, the bad, and the magical. it can take us where we want to go or the places where we limit ourselves to be. It also offers us the chance to do new and amazing things that we never thought of doing and relationships we never thought we would have. But no matter where it leads we always end up where we are supposed to be!

In order to acquire new blessings, we must often let something go. We can always tell when something is coming to an end.  However, we tend to hang on rather than let go. There can be many reasons for this but the main one is usually fear. Fear of being hurt, or hurting someone else.The fear that we are not good enough or strong enough to get through it on our own. But you are! New Beginnings are the children of Endings and Change. Welcome them and welcome the bittersweet feelings that herald the arrival of something amazing!
