Our thought for the day references perspective. Our perspective or how we choose to see the world or things going on in our lives IS a choice. Yesterday we talked about positive people. These folks have chosen the “glass is half full” perspective because they want to invite good things into their life adventure. Remember, we all have complaints but the key is in not letting them rule our lives.

Looks can be deceiving and what looks perfect has flaws. Remember that just because someone looks like they have it all doesn’t mean that it’s true. Unhappy people quite often perfected the “looks good on the outside” routine. True happiness starts from within and all else grows from there.

Our lives and minds are like gardens that we must take care of. Our thoughts and relationships (with self and others) often require focused “gardening”.  Work on them a little each day by “pulling weeds, sowing new thought seeds, and gently tending them”. This will produce the results needed to make our lives amazing and  rich beyond imagining.

We can either buy into it or walk away. Your personal inner peace is worth far more than the expensive price of another’s performance.

Have you ever thought about the amount of energy it takes to be negative? Being negative causes stress, anxiety, anger and drama. However, when we look at the bright side that’s when good things begin to happen! Start by looking for that “one good thing” and things begin to look up. Before you know it one good thing becomes more good things and soon good things are popping up all over. You better get your shades!

It’s not selfish to do things that make us happy or that bring us joy. To often we go out of our way to please others to the exclusion of all else. This boxes us in. While it may be good for them it is not good for us. However, by doing what is good for us or what brings us joy we are helping ourselves to experience life and what it has to offer us. it makes us happier, and healthier!
