Bountiful Moment:
Doing something for yourself is not self-indulgence it is self-respect.
Do you feel guilty or make excuses for not doing things for yourself. Do you find it difficult to be proud of your accomplishments or tell yourself good job. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can do. The way you treat yourself will affect every part of your life starting with your health all the way to how you relate to others.
Take time to do something for yourself today. Do you need to focus on your health, your finances, or just something fun? Set yourself as a priority as you head into your daily tasks. Carve out time where you are the main objective of the task completed. Do this every day. Remind yourself this is your life and if you don’t treat it with importance why would anyone else?
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

Mind Body Green: 10 Signs You’re Out Of Touch With Your Emotions
Most people are uncomfortable with emotions. And that makes sense to me. So many of us have been raised in an emotion-phobic culture. We are not given formal education on the biology of emotions and the brain. We are told we should have control over our emotions when the fact is that emotions are not under conscious control. No one teaches us the difference between categories of emotions. For example,

“…we can’t survive without enchantment… the loss of it is killing us.”
“There is one thing that all true spirituality has in common, whether that spirituality is derived from faith, from science, from nature or from the arts – a sense of wonder.”
“There are only two ways to live your life: One is as though nothing is a miracle, The other is as though everything is a miracle. I believe in the latter.”
“We live in a world of theophanies. Holiness comes wrapped in the ordinary. There are burning bushes all around you. Every tree is full of angels. Hidden beauty is waiting in every crumb. Life wants to lead you from crumbs to angels, but this can happen only if you are willing to unwrap the ordinary by staying with it long enough to harvest its treasure.”

I do believe that if people would just start by saying “it’s fun,” when it seems hard; “I’m happy,” when they seem sad; and “I know,” when it seems they don’t… they’d finally discover that it really is, they really are, and they always have.

Progress: Are You Learning From Mistakes?
“Progress has not followed a straight ascending line, but a spiral with rhythms of progress and regression, of evolution and dissolution.”
Sometimes we need to take a few steps back in order to get a running start. We make mistakes, and as long as we learn from those mistakes, we progress, we grow. Eventually we get to a point where we can look back and see how far we’ve come. Then we can turn back around and see how far we have to go!
