As we start a new week let’s talk about meditation. Meditation can reduce stress, anxiety, depression and even pain. It can be done anywhere and at any time. A common misconception of meditation is that you need to sit quietly for an extended period of time. This is far from the truth because 5-10 minutes can help. Simple acts of gardening, cooking or just walking can be a meditative experience, even power napping will work. What’s important is that you just let your mind go, breathe, clear and center or focus on something that relaxes you. This is a gift that you can give yourself everyday. Your mind and body will thank you!
