Today’s Message: Self Expression

223: Speaking up and standing up for ourselves can be a little intimidating. However, if we truly want to be successful in our personal evolution and making our dreams happen it’s definitely necessary. Today the Universe is asking us to engage in some positive self expression. Communication is the key that will unlock these doors. No need to be aggressive or project anger because you can be forceful and still be positive. There will always be those people who think they know what’s best for you. If something doesn’t work for you or is pushing you in the wrong direction say so. You have a voice and your Spiritual Helpers are behind you all the way. If you need courage or help finding your voice ask your angels for help.

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Raguel helps us to find our power and brings clarity when we feel conflicted about what to do next by providing a boost of energy and by bringing order to your thoughts. He also aids in the letting go process which is essential to moving forward. Raguel reminds us that sometimes people can get “freaky” when they see you moving off in a new direction and helps to smooth the way by resolving conflicts and disharmony with those around us as we work with our creative magic.

The Ascended Master Saint Germain provides courage and direction as we navigate life’s ups and downs. He teaches us how to clear the way and free our minds from worry so that we can work on more important things. while his “big brother” energy surrounds us with loving protection. He can also help us when dealing with those well meaning people who try to push us away from our path.

The Egyptian goddess Bastet (Bast) is not only associated with cats both large and small she is also a goddess of protection and of things that bring pleasure to the senses. In her role as protector she tells us “Never be afraid to stand up for yourself or move in the direction you know is right. Remember the importance of setting boundaries. This helps you to take control of your life”

Turquoise helps to purify our energy and clears away negative energy. it aids our problem solving skills and protects us against self self sabotaging thoughts and actions.

Today’s Message: The Inner Garden

222: Today inner gardening is on the agenda and the Universe is reminding us of the importance of tending our “Thought Seeds”. In order for them to take root and grow, you must first believe in yourself as you cultivate these precious seedlings with loving and positive energy. Remember that you already have the necessary skills to be successful and bring your dreams and goals to fruition. This where our faith and confidence comes into play. Start setting yourself up for the long term by taking the small opportunities (seeds) that are offered to you now. Add your energy to them and pull weeds where needed as this will help set things in motion. Stay true to yourself and your vision because you already know what you need to do and where you want to go!

Archangel Uriel can help us to overcome obstacles by showing us where the solutions are that will lead to our success. We all have many things to be grateful for however, today the angels are asking us to focus on the people we are grateful for. Family, heart family and friends all play an important role in our lives. Take a moment to acknowledge your gratitude towards them and bless them with peaceful, loving energy. Do not be afraid to let them know how much their presence means to you, ” I’m glad that you’re here”, Thank you for being a part of my life”, “I love you”, these words can mean so much. Below is one of the meteorites recovered from a small asteroid that created a brilliant light show over France on February 13, 2023. The asteroid known as Sar2667 and now as 2023 CX1 mostly burned up in our atmosphere, but some pieces made it to the ground as meteorites. One lucky searcher – 18-year-old Loïs Leblanc, who was part of a French search team – found this meteorite.

Today’s Message: Inspired Growth

219: Life is an ongoing series of lessons and we are constantly learning new things. It is through this process that we continue our personal evolution. The knowledge and insight that we acquire along the way can be shared with others and can play an important role in our “service to others”. Service to others means that we are putting them before ourselves and while this is a good thing the angels want us to remember the importance of creating and maintaining our balance. We can tip the scales in either direction by giving too much or not enough. There are many ways that we can be of service, lead or teach others. However, the simplest forms are through word, deed or example. If you think about it it’s pretty cool that these simple things have the power to inspire those around us whether we’re aware of it or not. Today we are being asked to share our light with others through word, deed or example. Look to the people who inspire you and strive to inspire others.

Archangel Michael teaches us that through compassion and commitment to our beliefs we can lead effectively through example. He sets us on the path of commitment to our purpose by showing us how to work through obstacles that pop up as he teaches us that we have what it takes to create new things for ourselves as he helps us reach new levels of self confidence.

The Ascended Master El Morya supports all who give of themselves in service of others and he shows us how to stay committed to our own growth so that we can heal and teach those in need. Today’s Message: Sending and Receiving

218: Although spring hasn’t arrived yet (in the Northern Hemisphere at least) our Spiritual Helpers are asking us to start our mental spring cleaning early. By doing so we will be inviting prosperity and abundance into our lives. Open the doors and windows within your entire being and kick out any negative nasties that are lurking in the corners and make room for new personal growth just as Mother Nature makes room for hers. At Imbolc we started planting our “Thought Seeds”, which when nurtured and cared for provide us with new things (new opportunities, growth, abundance etc.) that will help us on our path. Let go of negative thoughts and self doubts and open yourself to a balanced form of giving and receiving. As you do this remember that giving and receiving is a revolving door and what you send out comes back. So be conscious of sending our positive thoughts, intentions and good vibes. This will ensure a bountiful harvest that you can enjoy!

Archangel Jophiel the angel of Illumination and wisdom, fills us with beautiful, loving thoughts and uplifting energy which helps us to create a fresh approach to life. Jophiel tells us that goodness and beauty surround us all the time. By keeping ourselves open to receiving these blessings it draws the things we need directly to us. This is a reminder that slowing down activates our creative mind and makes these things easier to visualize and grasp and by taking the time to “smell the roses” the attitude of gratitude flows more easily.

Golden Beryl (Heliodor). This warm, sunny stone helps us to find clarity and illumination as it eliminates confusion of purpose.

It teaches us to trust in ourselves and helps us find creative solutions to current issues as it boosts self esteem and invites us to embrace our personal power while promoting positive life choices which enhance our ability to draw new forms of prosperity and abundance.

Celtic Tree Month of Ash/ Nuin: February 18-March 17

Plant Information

The mighty ash tree can grow up to 130 feet in height and ifs found in Europe and North America and is a member of the Olive family. This tree will stop growing when it reaches approximately 60 years old, it is believed that by that time the tree has obtained its full growth potential. Ash trees are easily recognized by their black buds, small springtime flower clusters and the inch long winged seeds that stay on the tree until autumn when they fly off like helicopters. The leaves of this tree grow in multiple oval leaflets and provide some nice orange to purple fall color.

Ash is a hardwood tree and it’s wood is strong, flexible shock resistant. It for theses reasons that it is used for making boat oars, ax handles, sports equipment and wagon wheels. Ash was also a favorite of the ancient Celts who used it for spear shafts while the ancient Egyptians used ash wood for bows and arrows, and had great quantities of it imported.

Ash spears were considered a powerful magical tool of Celtic Shamans, even more so than the wand. It was a symbol of the Shamans strength of will and personal power. Wiccans and Pagans traditionally use it for making Besom handles.

Ash Lore:

The Celts associated the ash tree with sea and the underwater kingdom of Tethys. It is also associated with the underworld and sacrificial deities, representing leading the soul into the afterlife. Celtic myth calls ash the tree of enchantment and it is said the the Welsh Magus Gwydion made his wands from its wood. Druid wands were made of ash as are the pipestems of the sacred Lakota pipes.

This tree also appears in Norse myth as the world tree Yggdrasil, World Tree or Cosmic Ash. This tree spans the the universe. Roots deep into the earth and the heavens supported by its mighty branches. The ash tree was seen as spanning the world and the world within each person. The ancient Druid phrase ” Know yourself and you will know the world” pretty well sums it up. It also shows us how we are linked with the world around us.

In Magic

In Magic the ash tree (wood, leaves, seeds) can be used in the following spells (charms etc.), creative endeavors, protection, attracting things, love, healing, fertility and transitions.

Charms of ash wood were used for protection against storms and drowning. It was also used as a love charm. You were to place an ash leaf in your left shoe and then you would be sure sure to meet your future spouse. Double leaves were lucky as were leaves with equal sections on both sides of the center leaf vein. However you would be unlucky in love if the ash tree on your land didn’t grow seeds every year.

Magical tools were also created from this tree. Ash spears were considered a powerful magical tool of Celtic Shamans, even more so than the wand. It was a symbol of the Shamans strength of will and personal power. Wiccans and Pagans traditionally use it for making Besom handles.

As a magical name Ash is perfect for a true warrior and leader, one who is comfortable with themselves and their abilities. It is generally thought of as a mans name but could also be used for a strong woman.

Ash People

People born in the month of Ash tend to be ambitious but with an egotistical side. They also tend to overachievers and need to be the best in everything they do. They do not care for criticism earned or not which makes them highly sensitive. On the upside they are reliable, intelligent with artistic talent, and make faithful lovers. Ash people also seem to have a dual personality which makes it hard for others to understand their true nature and motives behind their actions.
