Today’s Message:Be Creative
102: Problems and challenges can pop up out of nowhere and effectively blindside us or simply take us by surprise. Today the Universe is reminding us that if you are currently experiencing this, whether it’s something new, something old, or a reoccurring issue, help is on the way. Don’t hesitate to ask for help. Be clear in your requests and intentions and believe that all will be well. Keeping an open mind and embracing faith will ensure that solutions will present themselves. Stay open to receiving the guidance and messages that will come to you and be willing to try unconventional or creative solutions. Your ability for creative thinking will play an important role this month so don’t be afraid to think outside the box.
Today’s Spirit Helpers include:
Archangel Gabriel helps us to access our inner wisdom and shows us how it can guide and inspire us. Gabriel also teaches us the importance of communication on all levels. This helps us to overcome our fears so that we can complete the things we start and achieve positive results during times of transformation and change.
The Himalayan Ascended MasterBabaji helps us to achieve the personal and spiritual growth necessary for the letting go process. He assists us in detaching ourselves from both material things and things that no longer serve us. He teaches us that letting go is a form of simplifying your life. It frees your energy so that you can work on what’s important so that new blessings can be received.
The Gnostic goddess Sige teaches us the importance of being still of mind. Information and guidance come more easily when we surrender to silence. She says” Allow your mind to be still and let your inner wisdom guide you. The answers that you seek are before you if you have the courage to remove the veils and shed light in the shadows.
Today’s Sacred Stones include:
Moss Agate. This gentle stone promotes new beginnings and can help release the blocks that are keeping us from moving forward. It attracts new forms of abundance and teaches us how to channel our energy in new, creative ways. Often referred to as the gardener’s stone Moss Agate helps us connect to nature, the earth, and our own inner garden as well. Carry it with you or wear it during times of new growth.
Chiastolite (aka Cross Stone or Andalusite) promotes the creative problem-solving process. It enables us to release things that are no longer relevant to our current path and dispels any guilt we may have when we leave things behind. It helps us to make the necessary changes and brings harmony to conflicts that arise when we blaze new trails that others were not expecting or able to control.
Iron Pyrite has warm, positive energy. It teaches us to have confidence in our skills and abilities so that we are able to realize our true potential by stimulating new ideas and knowledge of our own self-worth. Pyrite also helps to balance instinct with innate intuition and overall creativity.
Blessings for a magickal day! Cat

MBG: 5 Self-Care Action Steps You Need If You’re An Energy-Sensitive Person
2020 has been intense—especially in terms of the collective energy. While energy isn’t something we can see with the naked eye, it’s something we can feel. Energy-sensitive empaths often feel the collective energy of a room, a group, or the world, in their own system—and this year made many energy-sensitive folks realize, while they want to help take better care of the world, they also need to take better care of themselves.

Grounding Yourself on Mother Earth
“Shamans, Native Americans, and wisdom teachers all over the world see the earth as a giant, conscious, living being. They say pollution sickens her in the same way cancer spreads slowly through a human body. Debilitated though she may be, our Mother Earth still retains tremendous power to heal. When we physically ground ourselves on her surface we are gifted with her vital energies.” In her new book, ‘Awakening Body Consciousness,’ Patty de Llosa offers a path to many ways of healing ourselves in the fractured world we are now living in. Patheos-Pagan: Why It’s So Hard To Work Magic Right Now
I work magic every month at the full moon. I started doing that several years ago, because I found that if I wait till I have a pressing need, my magical skills aren’t always up to the task. No matter how much natural talent you have, magic is like any other skill. It improves with practice and it deteriorates with neglect.
“For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin — real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.” — Fr. Alfred D’Souza
Life always brings problems. We really can’t live without them.
And so it helps to shift our perspective. We can stop trying to avoid the problems. We can stop feeling victimized by what’s happening. Instead, we can consciously work with the challenge of the moment to learn more about ourselves and the world. When we make this shift in attitude, we discover ourselves to be strong and powerful.
“Every lesson is a widening and deepening of consciousness. It is a stretching of the mind beyond its conceptual limits and a stretching of the heart beyond its emotional boundaries. It is a bringing of unconscious material into consciousness, a healing of past wounds, and a discovery of new faith and trust.” — Paul Ferrini

Illusion “And so we plow along, as the fly said to the ox.”
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882)
This quote makes me smile. It’s a funny illustration of illusion. It’s good to keep a sense of humor about ourselves. Life can be hard, but we can still laugh. Sometimes we think we’re going through something really painful, awkward, or difficult – and we look at each other and say “some day we’ll look back on this and laugh” – and that immediately lightens the situation because we know it’s true! Life is full of experiences. Sometimes we’re the ox and sometimes we’re the fly.

About Cat’s Morning Bits: These daily post are reblogged from various email newsletters that I receive each day.
Today’s thought is about growth. Problems are like clothing, they fit for a while and then we outgrow them. If you look back to 6 months ago, last year, or even 5 years ago you will see that your priorities have changed and the things that were problems then are no longer an issue. You have moved past them, outgrown them and they may even seem silly now. Maturity teaches us that things will most often work themselves out or turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

When confronted with fear, the brain will seek relief in the form of old coping habits if left to its own devices. However, there are things we can do to help it change course. “The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem.”
— Theodore Rubin
Our lives really begin to change when we learn to shift our perspective on ‘problems.’
From a spiritual perspective, problems offer our best path to growth. Like it or not, pain gets our attention. Discomfort also challenges the ego’s perception that it is in complete control of life. This opens the door for soul’s guidance.
If we want to be rid of the problem, we need to shift from denial and resistance to accept that this situation is present. We need to be willing to truly feel our experience to allow the energy of emotions to move through.
Finally, we need to explore what belief is giving rise to our distress. When we realize the belief is faulty, our shift in perspective resolves the problem. The solution always lies within us.

Problems. We all have them although sometimes we forget that. Remember that others are going through things that we know nothing about. So if the person that you usually turn to seems distracted, snaps at you, or doesn’t return a call or text just remind yourself that life happens to EVERYONE and that sometimes we just have to deal with our own stuff so that others can take care of theirs.
Today is a reminder about acknowledging our blessings. While we all have problems the truth is that the happiest people don’t focus on them. They focus on the one good thing or the tiny miracles that fill their lives. They live with a heart filled with gratitude. Remember that there is no problem that cannot be overcome or fixed with the right mindset. Be willing to embrace new ideas and perspectives with an open mind and it will help your problems to shrink in size.

Sincerity
“Individuals are considered sincere when there is little or no discrepancy between the goals they seek and those they claim to be seeking.”
-Leonard W. Doob
This is basically talking about the difference between what we say and what we do. And this is where I think a lot of politicians get themselves into trouble – and how politicians in general have gotten their reputation of being insincere! We wonder what their true motives are. We wonder if they’re just telling us what they think they want us to hear. Trying to sort out the real from the fake, or the sincere from the insincere is a big job. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could really just take each person at his or her word? Unfortunately, I think the world has a long way to go in that area. But by understanding the need for sincerity, and practicing it ourselves, we’re making a difference that in time will make a big impact.

Where is your mind today? Are you doing your best to be positive and upbeat even though there are problems that you are currently dealing with, OR are you letting your worries and fears consume you? While we all have worries and fears it’s how we handle them that matters. Yes they should be dealt with but we should not let them rules our lives. Do what you can, when you can and set aside the things that you have no control over. Your sanity is worth that.

I like our quote of the day but I think it should read this way: 80% don’t care, 19% are glad and 1% is there for you.
We all have problems. Things that bother us or that are going wrong in our lives. Some people keep these things to themselves, which is harmful and some people tell everyone, which can also be harmful. Having someone that you can talk to to is a good thing and there is always at least one person who is always there for you. If you are going through a rough patch, reach out to that one person. Make a phone call, a text, or an email. Simply telling someone can clear the mind and generate a new perspective.
