Spirit Library: Your Soul’s Adventure (a message from Kate Spreckley)
The incoming energy is burning through the veils of our attachments revealing whatever is blocking our ability to fully embrace our destiny. Our inner life is being electrified as powerful and unexpected events rise asking us to look deeply into our present circumstances and conditions.

ThoughtCo: Disposal of Ritual Offerings
A common question that comes up is the matter of how to dispose of offerings made during a ritual once the ritual has concluded. Disposal methods may vary, depending on a few things. For instance, does your particular magical tradition require you to dispose of offerings in a certain way?

EarthSky News: Full moon, faint eclipse, on July 4-5
For us in the Americas, the moon will turn precisely full during the nighttime hours on July 4-5, 2020, to present a partial penumbral eclipse of the moon. It’ll be such a faint eclipse – so nearly imperceptible – that some of you will swear nothing is happening even while staring straight at it.

3 Pagans And A Cat: Solitary Self-Initiation or Dedication. Does It Matter?
Car, Ode, and I had a lively discussion in our latest episode of 3 Pagans and a Cat regarding initiation. This includes self-initiation as a Solitary Witch or Pagan practitioner. Now, if a person wants to join a coven or group within a specific tradition or religious practice, then having the means to bring people together under oaths and rituals makes sense.

Inner Journey:
OPEN TO THE NEW
“All the people we call ‘geniuses’ are men and women who somehow escaped having to put that curious, wondering child in themselves to sleep.”
— Barbara Sher
How willing are you to learn something new?
How open are you to new perspectives?
Only when we’re open can we really hear what’s being said or really see what’s happening or really experience the moment.
Openness demands that we be willing to move to places we’ve never been before. It asks us to continually challenge the foundations of our belief systems so we can test out new ideas. And to do that, we need to accept insecurity.
“The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.”
— Alvin Toffler

96 zillion dreams come true!
And not once, not even close, not even on my most generous, loving, caring days, has anything ever happened in time and space — good or bad, big or small, rich or poor — that wasn’t sparked by someone’s imagination and followed up with their own baby steps.
Not without you,
The Universe

Gardening
“I wanted no one lifting a finger in that garden unless he loved doing it. What if Fred had hired a man to dig those trenches and it had turned out that he didn’t love to dig? Who could eat that kind of asparagus?”
-Ruth Stout, 1955
We are so intricately connected and with each other that we can feel a person’s emotions. It’s the same way with the earth – we are just as connected with this planet, so why wouldn’t ‘it’ be able to feel our emotions as well? In the movie ‘Like Water for Chocolate’ there is a scene where a girl is broken-hearted. As she cooks, her tears fall into the stew, and when the family eats the stew, they start to cry. When we’re sick with a cold, the famous remedy is chicken soup – but what is the ‘magic’ ingredient that makes the soup so healing? The love that the cook puts in there! These are illustrations of how our emotions, or how our intent, can affect our environment, and the people in our lives. In a way, we are gardening all the time.

Daily Tarot: The Moon
Things may be going fine but you’ll still be able to find something to be disappointed about. Rather than looking on the glum side of things, take a walk in the sunshine or at least get some fresh air and make an effort to be more objective. Full-blown optimism may be beyond you today, but you can balance your mood by noticing and maybe making a list of all those things that are going right.
