Sometimes it’s the smallest things that bring us the greatest joy. For me, it can be the song of a meadowlark,  a cat’s purr or the scent of sun warmed pinyon and juniper for someone else it might be the scent of cinnamon or the sound of rain or maybe the sound of someone’s voice. These small things tend to get lost in our busy lives. The challenge for today is to be mindful of the little things.

Happy Harvest Home!

Fall is officially here, it’s time for bonfires, sweaters, and cooler weather. The Autumn Equinox also called Mabon and Harvest Home is a time to reflect back on what we have accomplished so far this year and our own personal growth. A little Fall cleaning is also in order as we sweep away the things that didn’t quite work for us.

Our quote for today is about having the courage to move forward. Life happens to everyone, some of its good, some is bad and there is a whole lot of in between stuff. It can be easy to get caught up in the bad stuff if we allow it to happen. A short ride on the pitty train is ok, often necessary and can provide some much needed perspective. The important thing is to get off the train. You have things to do, tiny miracles to embrace and new blessings to make room for!
