Thought For The Day: July, 8, 2019 “Jealousy, Envy and Insecurity”

Jealousy and Envy are the children of Insecurity, and while most of us meet them at some point in our lives, there are those who allow them to move in and take up  permanent residence. These things can be extremely harmful to our mental and emotional state. Remember that there is no such thing as the perfect life and even though things may look amazing they too come with their own “family ” of Envy, Jealousy and Inseurity.

Learning to silence the mind is essential to our overall well being.  Try giving yourself a new project, focus on something unrelated or just breathe (Breathe in 2,3, 4, 5/ Breathe out 2,3,4,5).

Sometimes it feels like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders. Everyday we haul around a lot of excess baggage and unnecessary burdens. These things consist of  the burdens of others, worries, fears, things that we have no control over, drama and other assorted negative nasties that we come into contact with. Today make the conscious choice to let go of the burdens that do not concern you personally. Choose to enter this day with faith, hope and optimism.
