But the truth is that people learn by making mistakes and quite often we have to stay silent and let it happen. If you do offer advice the key is to not get “butt-hurt”  when our words are ignored. The expectations of others can often seem like weight upon our shoulders. We are often told how to act, think, or look. When we rebel and do things our own way we are often told “I just don’t understand you!” Well…… guess what? That’s OK! As individuals we all have our own way of doing things, we have our own ideas and attitudes. Remember that others mean well but it’s your path to walk and create!

Life can be exciting or dull, clean or messy, easy or difficult, magical or mundane. The truth is that life is a combination of all of these things. As we travel life’s road remember that our experiences , good or bad, help to shape our perception of  life’s beauty. We must often walk through fire to find our “paradise.”

The world is full of control freaks and everywhere you look people are trying to control “the when, the why and the how” of relationships and events in their lives. What it comes down to is ego. It’s our ego that makes us want to fight for control. Sometime’s we just need to put ego in a “time out” and let things happen naturally. Truthfully acknowledging what we can control and what we can’t allows us to focus on more important things.
