Thought For The Day: Jan. 31, 2018 ‘Karma Dogs”

Happy Wednesday,

Our thought for the day is a lesson in karma and choices. Karma can be either good or bad, there is NO in between. If you walk around with your nose in the air thinking that you’re better than everyone else, karma will eventually come and bite you in the butt. Treat others poorly, or inflict mean nastiness on them, karma bites you in the butt. However by treating people the way you want to be treated, courtesy and respect go a long way, then karma is like a big goofy dog who is happy to see you at the end of the day. If someone treats you poorly, think before you react, it’s all about choices and it benefits you to make the best ones. So …………….. what kind of karma will you sow today?

Our thought for the day is a reminder that we are in charge of our own lives. We are capable of having our own goal and dream and capable of  achieving them. There will always be people who think they know what’s best for you. Sometimes we follow their “advice” because we feel like we have to or it’s what makes them happy. Your are your own person so be proactive in choosing  direction you go. It’s okay to listen to the advice you’re given but it’s up to you to sift through it and find what’s relevant to your situation or goal. Take those relevant pieces (if any) and use them to help create your nest stepping stone. It’s YOUR life so never be afraid to think for yourself.

110: Today’s number packs some strong energy that relates to your life and your path. Communication will be important today so pay attention to the information and guidance that comes your way. It’s will be important to stay focused on what you want to accomplish as this focus will help open the doors that you need to move forward. Remember that help comes in many forms, some of which will be unexpected or simply come out of the blue. The key will be in taking the information that you receive from your “sources” and sifting through it. Pick out what is best for YOU and discard the rest. We have two Egyptian goddesses who are offering their assistance today. Hathor helps us to overcome indecision and grants us the ability to hear and trust the voices of the Divine and that of our own heart. Maat is the goddess of truth. She helps us to see the truth within the messages we receive. She also shows the truth and motivations behind the people and situations that present themselves. Archangel Jophiel teaches us to surround ourselves with beauty and shows us that slowing down and taking our time is the best way to make the most of the information we receive. Our Sacred Stone for the day is Azurite. This stone can used to guide the development of intuition as it expands the mind to promote clear thinking, understanding and new perspectives.

We all make mistakes, it’s true, it’s normal, it’s just part of life. Making mistakes is how we learn, however we can also learn from the mistakes of others. Groucho may have been a goofy looking dude but he is spot on in our quote of the day! 🙂 Don’t be afraid to try and if you make a mistake then learn the lesson and try again. Or better yet, pay attention to the mistakes others make and make a mental note NOT to do that yourself!

Have you noticed how easily “offended” people are today? People are too “up in everyone else’s business”. Wouldn’t it be better if we all worried more about ourselves and our own stuff instead of worrying about other people’s stuff? What you do is no ones business but yours unless it directly affects another or creates harm.  Involving yourself in the business of others is the quickest path to finding trouble. Minding our own business is always solid advice.

Many of us fall into the second category and that’s OK!  Remember that everything you do has an impact on your world and the people in it and around you. Life Purpose can be very simple, like making “tiny miracles” happen for others or even making your own life or the life of a loved one better.  Sometimes the small things are the best!

Wouldn’t it be great if everything was perfect?  Our job, our relationships, the world, people including ourselves. Well dream on baby because nothing in life is perfect. Each seemingly “perfect” thing comes with it’s own set of imperfections and  quite often we allow these things to to make us unhappy. By letting go of the expectation of “perfection” the world opens up before us. This can reduce stress, promote inner peace and even help us to be happier. Sometimes it’s the imperfect things that are the most beautiful, endearing or fulfilling. Afterall, there is no such thing as the perfect life, there is just life. It our perspective of it that’s important.

Happy Monday and welcome to a new week!


Advice is a funny thing. People are more than happy to give it to others, what you should do, how you should act, how you should be, think, feel and act. These same advice givers can become upset when their advice isn’t followed. The thing is………….. if you feel the need to give advice to others make sure that you are living your own words. Walk your talk. remember, it’s easier for people to respect and value advice given when they can see the person giving it following it themselves.
