Exemplore: Seven Crystals for Beltane

As we reach the celebration of Beltane, spring has peaked and we are heading into summer. The Earth is warming up and has an energy bursting with strength and fertility. The word Beltane is thought to originate from the Celtic god, Bal, meaning ‘the bright one’ and the Gaelic word ‘teine,’ which means fire.

“Beltane is the last of the three spring fertility festivals, the others being Imbolc and Ostara. Beltane is the second principal Celtic festival (the other being Samhain). Celebrated approximately halfway between Vernal (spring) equinox and the midsummer (Summer Solstice). Beltane traditionally marked the arrival if summer in ancient times. At Beltane the Pleiades star cluster rises just before sunrise on the morning horizon, whereas winter (Samhain) begins when the Pleiades rises at sunset. The Pleiades is a cluster of seven closely placed stars, the seven sisters, in the constellation of Taurus, near his shoulder. When looking for the Pleiades with the naked eye, remember it looks like a tiny dipper-shaped pattern of six moderately bright stars (the seventh can be seen on very dark nights) in the constellation of Taurus. It stands very low in the east-northeast sky for just a few minutes before sunrise. Beltane, and its counterpart Samhain, divide the year into its two primary seasons, winter (Dark Part) and summer (Light Part). As Samhain is about honoring Death, Beltane, its counter part, is about honoring Life. It is the time when the sun is fully released from his bondage of winter and able to rule over summer and life once again. Beltane, like Samhain, is a time of “no time” when the veils between the two worlds are at their thinnest. No time is when the two worlds intermingle and unite and the magic abounds! It is the time when the Faeries return from their winter respite, carefree and full of faery mischief and faery delight. On the night before Beltane, in times past, folks would place rowan branches at their windows and doors for protection, many otherworldly occurrences could transpire during this time of “no time”. Traditionally on the Isle of Man, the youngest member of the family gathers primroses on the eve before Beltane and throws the flowers at the door of the home for protection. In Ireland it is believed that food left over from May Eve must not be eaten, but rather buried or left as an offering to the faery instead. Much like the tradition of leaving of whatever is not harvested from the fields on Samhain, food on the time of no time is treated with great care. When the veils are so thin it is an extremely magical time, it is said that the Queen of the Faeries rides out on her white horse. Roving about on Beltane eve She will try to entice people away to the Faeryland. Legend has it that if you sit beneath a tree on Beltane night, you may see the Faery Queen or hear the sound of Her horse’s bells as She rides through the night. Legend says if you hide your face, She will pass you by but if you look at Her, She may choose you. There is a Scottish ballad of this called Thomas the Rhymer, in which Thomas chooses to go the Faeryland with the Queen and has not been seen since.”

430: As we close out the month of April we are receiving a big thumbs up to the Universe and its helpers! The internal and external work that we are doing is beginning to pay off and we are starting to see the results of our efforts. Creating personal change is never easy. However, we have learned that we have the support of the entire universe and that we can call upon it at any time and for assistance in any matter. The work we have done so far will begin to show results both large and small in the new month so this is a perfect time to engage in some personal downtime to make ready for the next phase. remember to ground, center, and clear then give yourself a big hug for all you have accomplished!

429: Over the last month, we have been working on two things: letting go of what no longer serves us and strengthening our faith in the Universe and in ourselves. When these things are combined we are creating new opportunities that will open new doors. The angels are helping us now by placing these doors (and windows) of opportunity in our path. Your mission should you accept it is to grab what’s offered before the circle moves on and the doors close. Remember that if you miss out on these opportunities they will eventually come back around, although it may not be what you want or need any longer when it does. If you are offered something that you have been waiting for be sure to grab it before it disappears!

Archangel Michael teaches us that through compassion and commitment to our beliefs we can lead effectively through example. The key to true abundance lies in being open to it and inviting ALL forms into your life. While we all need specific help at times staying open will always serve us best. The Angels are telling us ” Do not place limits and conditions on our requests. These things keep us from supplying you with the steady flow of abundance that we are capable of providing.” By staying open and allowing ourselves to receive we find that we are richer on all levels which makes us more complete. Reap the benefits of your request by simply asking for blessings of abundance on all levels!

The universe and its helpers are here to assist us but we must also be willing to do our part. This is where faith in yourself comes in. The more confidence and faith you have in yourself the better equipped you are to create the life you want. Faith also helps us to grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Today the angels are asking us to armor ourselves in faith and courage. If you need their support or assistance just ask. Then open yourself to receiving the guidance that is shared and take action accordingly.

Archangel Jeremiel is in charge of life reviews and changes. He can help you see everything that you have accomplished recently as well as the areas that need attention and helps us to let go of what we no longer need. Today’s Message: One Good Thing

426: Today’s number reflects the message that everything is okay, don’t worry, and don’t stress. With the help of the Universe both our spiritual and earthly needs are being met, both now and in the future. I know right now that this can be difficult to acknowledge however the combination of faith in Spirit and in your own power of manifestation creates a win-win situation. Take time each day to ground, center, and clear as this helps us to balance and keep our stress levels down. This means that we are more open to receiving guidance from both the divine and our own intuition. Remember to look for the good and embrace whatever form it takes, even if it’s only “One Good Thing”. Small things add up so don’t turn one down when it comes your way. Take action accordingly and don’t be afraid to draw upon the power of YOU to help make things happen!

These things are important when we are faced with new experiences and find ourselves faced with the need to take action. It encourages us to be flexible during times of change and helps us to embrace new experiences with an open sense of adventure.

Larimar helps to remove self-imposed barriers that may be keeping us from accepting our personal power and stops self-sabotaging behavior by bringing out the best in us. It helps us to see the things that we have to be grateful for and the tiny miracles that we take for granted. This sky blue stone also helps to ease our obsession with material things and shows us how to put things into perspective so that you manifest what you really need. It shows us how to go with the flow.

You have the power to make things happen and the Universe is on your side.” Changes require courage and our spiritual helpers are gently reminding us that we are never alone and that they are here to help with any changes that we are going through. You have grown enough to do what is necessary to make your life better, so use your Sacred Tools (faith, intuition) to make the changes that you need to continue your growth. Their message today is “Never be afraid of change. Embrace it and it will embrace you. Don’t fight these changes that are taking place as they are what you need to continue your growth cycle.”

Today’s Message: Work In Progress

424: Our lives and personal well-being are a continual work in progress, and every day we are faced with choices and options that help us along our path. Too often we put a temporary band-aid on something and hope it holds or we find ourselves wasting time on things (people, activities, energy) that keep us from moving forward. The key to our personal evolution lies in focusing on the things that serve us best. Making choices that resonate with our inner core and bring us a sense of fulfillment and joy keep us true to ourselves and n the right path. Connect with your spiritual helpers today and ask for help or just talk with them. By strengthening your connections it becomes easier to manifest your desires and goals into reality.

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

The Ascended Master Sanat Kumara teaches us that we have an unlimited supply of personal power and helps us find the energy we need to keep going and rise above negative experiences and thought patterns. This gives us the skills we need to strengthen our personal boundaries so that we can be and stay strong in situations where we need to be.

The Greek goddess Nike, Lady of victory and success helps us to embrace the good things that we have accomplished. By acknowledging them we can increase our faith in ourselves as a creator. She says: “Do not be afraid to acknowledge the amazing things you have done but don’t rest too long on your laurels. Remember that your power comes through movement and momentum is lost through inactivity. Keep moving and you will be victorious!”

Amethyst is a powerful protector that helps to shield us from unwanted energies while dispelling anxiety and fear. It helps the decision-making process by promoting common sense and spiritual insight. It also enables us to set realistic goals and sets us on the road to personal achievement.

Orange Calcite helps us to embrace our own power and the abilities we possess while eliminating self-defeating thinking. It also helps to balance our emotions and calm our fears so that we can work through problems and temporary setbacks so we may reach our full potential. It helps to dissolve problems and insecurities that can arise when we are faced with new opportunities.

Eulite (Hypersthene) helps us to find solutions to problems (large and small) that get in our way and can hold us back. It will also make seeing the answers and solutions easier by stopping the need to overthink or overly critical thinking. Eulite is also useful for building solid relationships which are necessary for the manifestation process and our personal evolution.

Today’s Message: Checking In With Yourself

423: Our spirit helpers are part of our support system and they help us navigate through life’s ups and downs. The key to their assistance is simple….just ask. If we don’t ask they are unable to step in without our permission to do so. Once we have asked for their assistance we must also do our part to make things happen and keep the energy flowing. Take opportunities when they present themselves and stay strong in your faith in the universe and in yourself. Remember that the key lies within you. Make time for a self-check and ask yourself:

Am I where I want to be on my path?

What can I let go of to make my journey easier?

Am I balanced or am I giving away too much of myself?

What self-care have I indulged in today? What can I do for myself?

By doing your best to turn life’s challenges into opportunities and embracing life with gratitude you will find that doors open, good things gravitate your way and miracles happen!

She is a goddess of empowerment teaches us about honest communication and how it aids our goal setting and getting. “Within you lives the sacred fire that gives life to your greatest dreams and passions. This part of you must be allowed to come forward, not smothered beneath fear, resentment or the expectations of others. Your fire will help you forge new paths!”

Angelite helps us to connect to the angelic realms by enhancing our lines of communication. It is also a good stone for healers as it strengthens attunement and perception.

Charoite. This multi-hued mineral is a stone of transformation. It helps to open our hearts to the concept of unconditional love and brings those energies forward.
