Not everyone thrives on drama and in fact we are happier when we can avoid it. However the truth is that we cannot always avoid negative people. When dealing with them remember that you have choices. Sometimes the most difficult is learning to walk away or choosing not to answer that text or phone call. Remember that negativity breeds more negativity and by getting caught up in it it becomes our drama. But when we make a conscious decision to disconnect from it the drama loses its power.

Choose your battles wisely and let go of what you have no control over. Make your own decisions and let others make theirs and if mistakes are made learn from them and move on. We all have dreams and desires. Things we want to do or things we want to get away from. There are times when we are offered the chance to make changes in our lives we are too afraid to do so. We feel like it’s too much to handle or we are afraid to fail. The key lies in remembering that change happens whether we are ready for it or not. If we fight change it becomes stressful. But if we let go of that fear or set it aside we can meet change half way and work with it. Change = Growth and personal evolution is important to our overall well-being.
