Remember the “Leisure Suits” that were so popular in the 70’s? As if we needed the appropriate attire to lounge around in… It seems funny now, but it was so stylin’ then! But maybe the real point was that we didn’t necessarily need the suits, but we did, and do, need the leisure. In some strange way, that was brought to our attention. It might benefit us psychologically to “suit up” – whether it’s in our yoga pants or in our pajamas, to spend some time down time, some time to clear our minds so that we can open our minds to deep thought.

Change is a funny thing. Through making changes we strive to make things better for ourselves and others. However, there are just some things and people that resist our attempts. Remember that you simply can’t force change to happen. This is especially true of people who are often not ready to change or simply refuse. This is where courage comes in. By continually struggling with what we can’t change or control we can cause harm and stress to ourselves and others. Be courageous when it comes time to accept and let go for your own peace of mind.

Haven’t we all had the experience where we’re working so hard, struggling to solve a problem and the answer is just not coming to us? And then, we take some time off and do something else and the answer just pops into our head! There is a purpose to this, and it is divine!

However, just because they’re normal doesn’t mean that we should let ourselves get caught up in them. So it’s important HOW we handle these emotions. Fear can affect our outlook, our faith, our self-confidence, and even our lives. By allowing fear to take over our lives and actions it breaks our faith and stops our forward momentum. On the other hand, if we look for the underlying source of our fear and acknowledge it we find it easier to deal with and our inner strength and our power as a creator grows. Our angels are reminding us that we are safe and our needs are being met. Take some time today to clear your energy field and release any negatives that hanging around. You’ve totally got this!

There are times when we need to step back and look at where we are and what surrounds us and today is one of those times. To move forward we need to make choices and decisions that speak to our personal truth. It’s time to gently let go of the things that are draining your time and energy (people, situations, and things we have outgrown) in favor of more positive pursuits. Having faith in yourself helps us to move forward, and having the confidence to use your intuition as a guide helps us to find and embrace new and better things. Stay focused and keep your mind open as this will help you see the hidden “gems” along our path!
