Two sun bears once snatched by poachers in Cambodia just had their first cub at the Chester Zoo. It’s the first sun bear born in the United Kingdom.

79: Our message today involves the giving of sacred service through our life purpose. For some this means offering themselves and their skills to the community or to the world. Yet for others sacred service revolves around their partner, children, family or extended family. Every day, whether we are aware of it or not we have the ability to make a difference or influence someone’s life in a positive way . The Angels are letting us know that we are on the right path and that even if we’re not exactly sure of what our life purpose is. The important thing is that we are making a difference in our world!
Archangel Chamuel shows us the important parts of our lives and helps us to create the foundations we need to build strong relationships (friends, love career etc). However, if you’ve been slacking and letting weeds grow on your path then the Universe wants you to know that it’s time to get started. It’s easier and less “stress-full” to clear as we go instead of putting it off and becoming overwhelmed. Our lives and paths are works in progress and they both require effort and elbow grease to make things happen. Use the old grade school lesson of Stop-Look- Listen to help you navigate “success-fully”.

The Celtic Tree Month of Holly (Tinne) July 8th until August 4th.

Holly has long been associated with death and rebirth in both Pagan and Christian lore and plays an important part of the Winter Solstice. In one Arthurian tale Gawain (representing the Oak King battles with the Green Knight who is armed with a holly club that is the symbol of winter. Both the Holly and the Oak are important during the Summer Solstice. During this time the Sacred White Horse of Oak transforms into the Unicorn of Holly. In ancient Rome holly was thought to ward against lightning strikes and keep witches away. It was also a popular gift to give friends during the Saturnalia, which was celebrated during the Winter Solstice.

Holly is an evergreen shrubby tree, easily recognized by it’s shiny dark green toothed leaves and blood red berries. This plant is considered POISONOUS and should not be ingested!! 77: We know from past readings that our path is unique. We also know that we are the only ones who know the scope of our dreams and what we need to be fulfilled. 76: Maintaining balance is one of the essential keys to navigating our path. Today we are being asked to perform a balance check today in two areas: giving / receiving and spiritual / material. There are times when we get so preoccupied in either (or both) areas and we lose our way. Balance between giving and receiving requires that we allow ourselves to receive and acknowledge the the blessings that come to us. The balance between spiritual and material is equally important. By acknowledging the richness of our own spiritual nature material “things” lose their importance. They become nice to have but they no longer rule our lives. Achieving and maintaining balance in these areas is one of the keys to good spiritual health. Remember, that if our scales are tipped one way or the other it zaps our energy levels and our ability to focus. But when things are balanced we find that our journey and the flow of life is easier, it also allows us to be grounded and more at peace.
The Archangels Michael and Raphael can help us to clear some space so that we are able to receive with joy and an open heart. The Ascended Master Buddha teaches us that peace is found by achieving balance through moderation and the Egyptian Goddess Maat offers protection against be manipulated into giving away too much of ourselves. She also helps to achieve balance, she tells us “Honor yourself by being truthful. It is truth that creates order out of difficult or confusing situations. It is also truth that keeps your inner scales balanced, your energy free and your heart feather light.”
Our Sacred Stones for today are Rose Quartz, this ultimate self care stone opens our heart and shows us the love in relationships and situations, which helps us find a balancing point, and Ruby, which promotes energy and balance. This gemstone is also a stone of abundance, however it tempers this with clarity and focus while eliminating self destructive patterns that can get in the way of our goals motivation.
