Black boughs against a pale, clear sky,
Slight mists of cloud-wreaths floating by;
Soft sunlight, gray-blue smoky air,
Wet thawing snows on hillsides bare.

Spiritual Unite: 4 Mantras That Will Get You Motivated In 2019
Mantras are like a calming breeze that sweeps through our brains and give us relief from the mental destruction and defeating patterns that roam our minds.

The Herbal Muse: Saffron May Be as Effective as Ritalin in Treating ADHD
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects approximately 3%–7% of school age children and about 4% of the adult population. The standard therapy consists of stimulant drugs such as methylphenidate (Ritalin) which produce a “dopaminergic effect,” meaning they act on neurons to promote an increased release of dopamine.

Exhaling a deep sigh of relief, and gently pushing the door closed—leaving only a two-inch barricade between my quiet comfort and the chaos just beyond the other side—I stepped into my empty classroom.
Pioneer Thinking: Spring Foraging
Spring is a time for rebirth. A call to leave the darkness of winter behind and head outside for sunshine and longer days. The shift from winter to spring happens quickly, providing the baseline truth in the phrase “spring has sprung”. You may be shoveling the driveway one day and then see a skunk cabbage pushing up through the snow the next. The plant world is undergoing the transformation from winter storage and dormancy to spring growth and expansion. This makes spring a wonderful time to get outside and forage.
EarthSky News: Moon and Winter Circle March 13-15
These next several evenings – March 13, 14 and 15, 2019, the waxing moon is moving inside the Winter Circle, sometimes called the Winter Hexagon. It’s a large circular (hexagonal) star asterism – not one of the 88 official constellations, but just a noticeable pattern of stars – consisting of six 1st-magnitude stars in six separate constellations:
Patheos-Pagan: The Wu Way…Going With The Flow
For many years, I have harboured a secret and sincere interest and study into philosophical and esoteric Taoism, an ancient wisdom of life and health from China. In this, I have poured over translations of ancient texts on alchemy and meditation, the classics of Lao-Tzu, Chuang-Tzu and modern scholars such as …
LISTEN TO YOUR HEART
“To know how to choose a path with heart is to learn how to follow intuitive feeling. Logic can tell you superficially where a path might lead to, but it cannot judge whether your heart will be in it.”
— Jean Shinoda Bolen
“When you have compassion and surrender to your own heart, you are surrendering to the hidden power in your heart, God. You are surrendering to love, because God is Love, the cohesive force of the universe that connects us all. Surrender is not just a religious concept; it’s a power tool for listening to the voice of your spirit and following its directions. When you surrender your head to your heart, you allow your heart to give you a wider, higher intelligence perspective. Remember the phrase, ‘The real teacher is within you.’ Very simply, that teacher is to be found in the common sense of your own heart.”
— Sara Paddison
“Surrender is faith that the power of love can accomplish anything… even when you can not foresee the outcome.”
— Deepak Chopra

You’re dreaming-g-g-g. And while I abhor the idea of disturbing you when things are getting so very exciting in your life, I just want to remind you that no matter what may ever happen, the dreamer is always greater than the dream.

“The greater the tension, the greater is the potential. Great energy springs from a correspondingly great tension of opposites.”
-Carl G. Jung (1875-1961)
It’s all about balance. If we are in that “go go go” mode all the time then we burn ourselves out. We need time for silence, we need time to recharge our batteries. Then we can come at life from a new, fresh perspective.
Beliefnet: Creating Your Psychic Protection Shield
We all need to shield ourselves before we go out the door. Just as we put on clothes to protect our body and carry an umbrella in the rain, we must put on our psychic shield to protect our energy. Creating your psychic protection shield should be done every day. In the morning, make time to create your shield. White light works best, but there are a variety of visualizations you can use to enhance your psychic shield. Try some of these this week and see how much stronger you feel.
