Challenge “Providence has hidden a charm in difficult undertakings, which is appreciated only by those who dare to grapple with them.”
-Anne-Sophie Swetchine, 1869
Ah! Doesn’t this explain it! When we accept a challenge, work through it to the other side, then we understand and appreciate the growth that comes as our reward. It’s easy to shrug off a challenge, to think that it’s too big of a risk, that it could be a waste of our time. But to tackle a challenge, to grapple with it, leads us to a place where we discover just what we are capable of, and that is beautiful.

Daily Tarot: The Fool
The day may be full of confusion but you don’t have to go through it naively and unaware of what’s happening around you. It’s not a good day to flirt with taking silly risks, some of which might turn out to be semi-dangerous or costly. You may be too hyper to want to play it safe, but at least make an effort to not be naïve or irresponsible.

It’s time to tune up your personal guidance system. Get ready to receive!~Cat
87: We all come equipped with a personal guidance system called intuition and every day we are faced with choices that we must make for our personal evolution. When faced with these choices that will have an impact on your life ask yourself “Is this best for me right now?” Your inner guidance system will always be the voice of reason and will not steer you wrong. The key to intuition is learning to recognize it as opposed to the voice of the Inner Child who can often get us into trouble. Today the angels are asking us to fire up our intuition and embrace the strength and courage to make the best possible choices for our current situations. They are also telling us that it’s time for a balance checkin regards to giving and receiving. Make any necessary adjustments to avoid tipping the scales.
Today’s Spirit Helpers include:
Archangel Michael helps to calm our fears as he guides us through issues of self-doubt by clearing our energy field and quieting the internal chatter so that we can access the guidance being sent to us. He helps us to find our courage and our direction while giving us the strength that we need to choose wisely and make decisions on our own.
The Ascended Master Jesus helps us with all areas of faith and teaches us that true miracles often come in small packages. He also provides a clear and direct line of communication to the Divine as well as teaching us how to open up to receive divine information.
The Greek goddess Artemis helps us to hone our intuitive skills. She teaches us how to trust in ourselves and honor our own wisdom. By following our inner guidance system we are setting ourselves on the path of authenticity and personal truth. Allow yourself to be a “huntress” like Artemis and track down your inner power. She tells us, “All the skills and knowledge you need for success lives within you. Your inner wisdom is a powerful thing and you know in your heart when something is good and right.”
Our Sacred Stones for today include:
Azurite increases our ability to receive spiritual guidance and helps us to see through illusions so that we can see our path clearly. It helps to develop our intuitive skills as it expands the mind to promote clear thinking, understanding, and new perspectives.
Cavansite. This stone helps to guide us through major life changes as well as helping us learn from past experiences so that we don’t make the same mistakes/choices again. It also helps us to retain information that applies to spiritual growth. Cavansite helps to promote new ideas and can be used in conjunction with the Third Eye or brow chakra.
Moonstone, the stone of new beginnings. This beautiful, watery stone helps to navigate the cycles of change and calms our emotions. Gently encouraging creative thinking and creative problem solving as it brings our intuitive skills forward, promoting control and confidence so these skills become more familiar and easier to access. It also provides emotional healing by helping to stabilize the emotions and draw out old emotional patterns.
Blessings for a magickal day! Cat
I invite you to share my work as long as no changes are made and to check out my websites:
Do you remember the childhood ritual of making a wish on a dandelion and the magic you felt? As children, we found magic everywhere but many (not all) tend to lose that sense of wonder as they get older. There are a few theories about why this happens but I think the reason is that we are told that magic doesn’t exist and that we need to grow up. The truth is that magic does exist and in fact surrounds us all the time. Take a moment today and touch base with the child within. So, when was the last time that you made a wish?
Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.

Spiritual Unite: Celtic Mandala Symbolism: Hidden Meanings Of The 4 Most Powerful Celtic Symbols
The ancient Celts were an extremely spiritual people who found deep symbolism in even the most basic things. Like other spiritually-inclined groups, which is basically everyone at that time, they utilized mandalasto express their beliefs in a physical, artistic format.
Aphrodite was the Greek goddess of love and beauty, and is honored by many Pagans today. Her equivalent in Roman mythology is the goddess Venus. She is sometimes referred to as Lady of Cytherea or Lady of Cyrpus, because of her cult locations and place of origin.
Abracadabra is an ancient word used by magicians when they are ready to make something magical happen. It’s often accompanied by a swirl of the magic wand and followed by the wave of a scarf to reveal the magic trick. The origin of this word “abracadabra” is thought to be from the Aramaic language. Abra means “to create” and “cadabra” means “as I say.” So the parts put together translates to “I create as I say.”
Back in the Roman times doctors treated malaria sufferers with an amulet inscribed with the word “abracadabra” written in the form of a triangle. This was said to diminish the hold that the disease had over the patient. Over the years this magical word has had various uses, as it can be found on amulets in various cultures. Today the word is commonly used as an incantation by stage magicians.
In the “Harry Potter” series the expression “Avada Kedavra” is used as a spell known as the “Killing Curse.” Author J.K. Rowling said of the Curse’s etymology: “It is an ancient spell in Aramaic, and it is the original abracadabra, which means “let the thing be destroyed.” Originally, it was used to cure illness…”
Magic is all around us, whether we use the words or not. But sometimes using these “magic words” helps to remind us of the power we have, and how we can harness it. Think about how you can create as you say. Set your intention, put in the effort, and watch magic happen!

Conversation
“Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself; avoid trifling conversation.”
-Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
Conversation. Communication between people. Conversation is often called an art, because it can take talent, and skill. We know when we’ve had a good conversation – we feel like there was an exchange of energy and ideas. We feel heard, and understood. We feel like we’ve learned something, or that we’ve spent our time well. It’s more than just “small talk,” it’s something substantial – a meal rather than a snack!

More than one million adults in the U.S. are diagnosed with a chronic brain disease or disorder each year. This includes Alzheimer’s, stroke and Parkinson’s, which affect aging adults the most. Adhering to a healthy lifestyle and a diet abundant in “brain foods” like flavonoid-rich berries and antioxidants from herbs and green tea, can go a long way to keep your grey matter in good working order. Score big for engaging in mental exercises, like reading and crossword puzzles, too. But scientists now believe that an aromatic compound in turmeric root may hold the key to the recovery of brain function through the generation of new stem cells.
