Watching chickadees flit through the treetops is like witnessing master acrobats at work. These adorable birds duck and dodge through branches as they hunt down small insects. Not only are chickadees super cute, they also have winning personalities. They are curious and unafraid of humans, and old-time birders call this classic chickadee trait “confiding.”

There are times when adversity appears to get the better of us. No matter how you try to overcome you keep re-playing the mind tape of disaster, or heartbreak. It feels like the awfulness will never end. You think you don�t have the ability or strength to get through this tough situation. When this occurs remember that you are braver, stronger and smarter than you think and that you have the power to get through anything with success.
As you go through your day today remind yourself how great you are. Don�t feel ashamed or silly to say and think to yourself that you are pretty awesome. Think about situations that you have overcome, or achieved. Look around and take note of all the wonderful things that are a reflection of you. Breathe in the fact and believe that you are wonderful! Keep reminding yourself that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Today’s Recipe: Flourless PB Chocolate Protein Muffins
Sometimes the best type of gluten free food is one that doesn’t even contain gluten free flour. Sure, it’s nice to not have to pay for pricey gluten free flour, but sometimes I like to remove flours all together. When I make these muffins, people have no idea there’s not a drop of flour in them. You’ll be surprised when you pull one apart and take a bite… so soft and fluffy. On days I have heavier workouts, these muffins are great to keep me satisfied but not bogged down.
