Today’s Message: New Month, New Cycle

81: Welcome to August! This new cycle begins with a reminder from the Universe. “The power to manifest everything you need lies within you.” The steps to creating prosperity and abundance include:

  • Clearing the way for new blessings. If it is holding you back or no longer works for you let it go.
  • Embrace the changes that bring new blessings and opportunities. Even small things can have a big impact, so use the stepping stones that the Universe provides.
  • Don’t be afraid to explore new paths or blaze new trails. Prosperity and abundance can come from anywhere so keep your eyes open!
  • Don’t focus or obsess about what you perceive as “lack”. Expressing gratitude for the blessings in your life helps bring new things to your door.

These steps combined with the work that we have done recently will help us out. Remember to stay focused on positive outcomes and surround yourself with confidence knowing that you are in the right place at the right time to grab the opportunities that are headed your way!

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Raziel assists us in all forms of manifestation. This includes our ‘Tiny Miracles” which he helps bring forward into the light. He tells us that growth and freedom can be found when we let go of our limiting self-beliefs and fears which hold us back from achieving and creating the life we want.  The Ascended Master Vywamus encourages us to continuously and consciously seek inspiration through the discovery and rediscovery of our own natural abilities and talents. He teaches us that healing can be found in change. If something is holding you back he can teach you how to let it go or let it be so you can continue moving forward.

 The Mayan goddess Ixchel helps to get our creative juices flowing by breaking through the barriers we have erected that are blocking our progress. Call on her if you are starting something new. ” Clear your mind and allow the creative source to fill you. New things are waiting for you to embrace them!”

Today’s Sacred Stones include:


Carnelian is used for motivation and increased creativity. It teaches us to trust in ourselves and helps us find creative solutions to current issues as it boosts self-esteem and invites us to embrace our personal power while promoting positive life choices which enhance our ability to draw new forms of prosperity and abundance.

While Garnet is best known as a stone of protection it can benefit the use of our natural talents as well. It helps us to overcome any resistance we may have in using our gifts and promotes self-confidence. Garnet removes what no longer serves and mental self-sabotage. It promotes balance and clears and re-energizes the chakras.

Jade can provide aid in problem-solving and shows us the path to reaching our goals and actualizing our dreams. It also promotes emotional balance and self-confidence as it gently dissipates negativity and brings peace on all levels. Jade attracts both prosperity and good luck. Jade helps us to understand that we are spiritual beings on this very human journey we call life. It stimulates knowledge and ideas.

Lughnasadh/ Lammas Correspondences

Lughnasadh (loo-nas-ah)/ Lammas- Aug 1/ Feb 1 (Southern Hemisphere)Greater Sabbat/Cross Qtr day

 Colors are yellows, reds, bronze, brown, orange, yellow

 Scents & Herbs include frankincense, hollyhock, rose, sandalwood, fenugreek, berries, heather, oak, oat, and sunflower 

Sacred Stones Include red or orange stones, carnelian, citrine, amber 

Food: blackberry wine or other dark, fruity beverage, wheat or multi-grain bread, corn, fresh veggies from your garden, chicken or bbq meats. 

Decorations: summer flowers, grains, Indian corn, corn dollies, acorns, berries 

Deities: Lugh, the Green Man, Danu 

The  Celtic Sun God Lugh presides over this Sabbat and it is from his name comes the word Lughnasadh. This word is old, Irish Gaelic which also translates into shining or light. This celebration was also adopted by the Church as Lammas, which in rough translation means loaf mass.

This Sabbat is also known as the Feast of Bread and is a time of transformation. It is the first of the 3 harvest celebrations and was seen by our ancestors as the beginning of Autumn. It honors the first fruits of the season and expresses gratitude for the coming harvest season.

 The celebration of Lughnasadh marks the time when the strength of the God of the Harvest (Green Man/ John Barleycorn) is in noticeable decline. The days are getting shorter and the sun’s energy is not as intense. It is the time of the “sacrificial god”. He knows his time is short and offers himself and his blood to ensure that the harvest will be successful. The song John Barleycorn originates from these ancient rites. The Goddess however is at her peak as Mother as she offers mankind the bounty of the harvest.

 Lughnasadh is a time for traditional activities like baking bread to honor the first grain harvest of the year.  Harvesting vegetables that you have grown in your garden, dedicating it to the gods, and then asking Lugh to bless your garden to ensure continuing good crops is also appropriate for this holiday. You can also bless your garden tools for next year. Blueberry picking is also traditional as is taking nature walks to find goodies to decorate your altar. You can also include rituals of sacrifice. “Sacrificing” old bad habits and other kinds of negativity can be done by baking a small bread person and transferring your bad habits etc into it. Toss the bread person into your ritual fire to complete the spell.

Lughnasadh is also a great time to showcase something new that you’ve learned or re-commit yourself to something that you already do and love. Celebrate reaping the rewards of your skills or new ventures.

Today’s Message: Believe In Yourself

731: As the month of July comes to a close take a moment to give yourself a big hug. You’ve done a lot of work recently so be sure to acknowledge your personal growth and evolution. This is an important part of your self-care routine, so don’t sell yourself short. Celebrate your wins and the effort you put forth. Today the Angels are telling us that the work we have done is paying off even if the results aren’t visible yet. Continue the self-care routine from yesterday and focus on centering and balancing as this will be important in the new month. The Universe wants you to know that you have grown in ways that you can’t begin to imagine (yet).. so stay focused, confident and above all believe in yourself!

Archangel Haniel showers us with stardust, illuminating our thoughts and memories so that we can remember what magickal beings we truly are, which assists us in the creation process. This part of you must be allowed to come forward, not smothered beneath fear, resentment, or the expectations of others. Your fire will help you forge new paths!”

Moss Agate. This gentle stone promotes new beginnings and can help release the blocks that are keeping us from moving forward. It attracts new forms of abundance and teaches us how to channel our energy in new, creative ways. Turquoise helps us with creative problem solving and promotes both balance and intuition. Turquoise helps to purify our energy and clears away negative energy. it aids our problem-solving skills and protects us against self-sabotaging thoughts and actions.

Unakite. This green and pink stone helps us to see blocks that we have erected within ourselves and then provides valuable insights on removing them so that we can move forward. It helps us to appreciate the present moment and works with both base and heart chakras

Today’s Message: You’ve Earned It

730: The Universe is inviting us to indulge in a little self-care today. In order to hear and receive both divine guidance, as well as our own, we must take care of ourselves. This involves keeping our energy field clear so that we can stay focused and centered. Every day our energy field absorbs bits and pieces of what goes on around us and these things can knock us out of balance. This balance is important when it comes to receiving guidance and messages. Take some time today to ground, center, and clear. Clean up your path, pick a few weeds, plant something new, and even blow a few dandelions. Don’t forget to harvest some good things along the way….. you’ve earned it!

Today’s Message: Every Day Is A Victory

729: As we count down the remaining days of July the Angels are sending us the following message: “Keep the faith in yourself and in your abilities. By doing so you will be able to see your path and purpose more clearly.” Remember that our inner guidance always tells us where we need to or want to be. Even though we may not be able to see the whole picture. As long as we continue moving forward (and YES baby steps count!) we are making progress, so pay attention to the guidance you receive (internal and external). New doors will open for us by not allowing small setbacks to stop our momentum and by turning our fears and doubts over to the angels. Start with baby steps, acknowledge the tiny miracles, and promote goodwill to those around you. These things will make every day a victory! You’ve got this!

Today’s Message: Harvesting Your Abundant

728: The key to abundance can be found in acknowledging the blessings that we have. This generates a positive flow of energy which draws new blessings to us. Our message today is a reminder that the flow of divine abundance always surrounds us. As we approach the first of the Pagan harvest festivals, Lammas/ Lughnasadh, it’s a great time to take stock of what you have and you may even find some things ready to harvest. The old adage of “counting your blessings” really comes into play over the next few days. It’s time to harvest from our inner fields and gardens and embrace the richness and tiny miracles that fill our lives. You truly have more abundance than you realize. If you feel lacking in that area a change of perspective is always a good plan.

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Jeremiel is in charge of life reviews and changes. He can help you see everything that you have accomplished recently as well as the areas that need attention and helps us to let go of what we no longer need. He teaches us that by taking inventory of our lives we gain a clear perspective of where we are on our path, which in turn helps us to make positive life changes. He removes our fear of change and what the future holds and replaces them with a sense of expectant excitement.

727: Communication is essential for all relationships including the one we have with the divine. We have been working on strengthening the communication centers that allow us to receive divine guidance. Today the Angels are letting us know that we are on the right path and giving us a big thumbs up. They are also reminding us that by honoring our personal truth combined with a willingness to really “listen” to the inner wisdom and guidance we receive that we see our path in more detail. The time has come to embrace your path with purpose, passion, and persistence. An optimistic and adventurous attitude doesn’t hurt either and will make our path easier to navigate. The Universe is on your side and wants you to succeed, so if you need help or clarification….. ASK
