Today is a reminder to look for joy in the small things. Joy is not found in how much stuff you have or how much money you spend. It is not found by how many likes you get on a social media post. True joy lives within each of us. It is a choice that we make when we clearly see what truly matters. If you have been feeling down challenge yourself to find 3 small things that brought you joy today. Joy is everywhere if we open our minds and hearts!
Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.

We are opening to a new cycle that requires us to learn how to live from our hearts and how to come from our hearts in ways that are grounded, functional and effective. This requires us to be more open, honest and vulnerable and to reveal our true self to the world without fear of rejection, loss or hurt
In Greek mythology and legend, Poseidon is the god of the sea. However, his domain includes some aspects of the land as well, and in fact he is known as “earth-shaker” in many stories, because of his penchant for causing earthquakes. Poseidon was responsible, according to Greek legend, for the collapse of the Minoan civilization on the island of Crete, which was all but destroyed by a giant quake and tsunami.

Inner Journey: REFLECT ON YOUR LIFE
“Reflection is one of the most underused yet powerful tools for success.” — Richard Carlson
Regularly, take time to reflect on what has been happening in your life. Step back to work ON your life instead of IN it. See yourself as the C.E.O. of your own personal company, or as the captain of your own ship. Are you navigating the waves as well as you might?
Stepping back helps us see a bigger, more inclusive picture. Small events make more sense in the bigger scheme of things.

Light “Light is the symbol of truth.”
-James Russell Lowell (1819-1891)
There are two kinds of “light” in the English language. One is the visual, the light we get from the sun or a lamp, that lets us see. This kind of light is indeed a symbol of truth, because the truth lets us see, nothing is hidden. The other kind of “light” is a measurement of weight, the opposite of “heavy.” This, too, could be called a symbol of truth. The truth makes us free, and we feel light because we don’t have to carry the heavy burden of hiding a secret.

Spirit Library: Equinox (a message from Kate Spreckley)
With today’s Equinox energy there is a definite increase in the intensity and the frequency of the incoming energy. Currently the incoming waves of energy are clashing with the outgoing waves of energy creating disruption and turmoil for us all. As the incoming cosmic energies get stronger and…
I don’t follow the dates on a calendar, I watch and feel what Mother Nature is doing and the energies around me. In my corner of South East England autumn is beginning to show her face, so for me the season of autumn equinox has begun.
For many Pagans, autumn is a time of giving thanks. Although this is the most obvious around the Mabon holiday, if you live in the United States, most of your friends and family will be giving thanks in November.
MBG: An Autumn Equinox Ritual That Pulls Its Power From The Elements
The wheel of the year is turning, and the autumn equinox is coming up on Tuesday, September 22. For this special time of year, thousands of people stand in awe at sacred sites around the world—from the pyramids at Chichen Itza in Yucatán to Machu Picchu in Peru. Autumnal festivals play a prominent role in Native American culture, Iranian tradition, and beyond.
Jason Mankey’s post about the Autumnal Equinox caught my attention the other day. In it he writes:
Most of us probably live our lives out of balance. We either focus too much on work, or not enough on it, and some of us prioritize doing things for ourselves instead of doing things for others
Elephant Journal: A Grounding Prayer for the Autumn Equinox.
It’s been a no good, very bad week. Mercury is in retrograde and my kids have been having epic tantrums. A dear family member had a heart attack, and we got some bad news affecting our finances.
I’ve been in icy fear all week. Cortisol tears through my veins. My mind races, scavenging up ways to cut expenses and bring in more income. I feel a bit like someone has died, and I’m tumbling through the stages of grief from that chill of fear to a thick sadness to simmering anger.
Well hello, fall! Even though it happens year after year, the arrival of autumn is always a little surprising. Almost as if on a switch, one day late in the summer you feel it – a subtle crispness in the air. And before you know it, it’s pumpkin-spice-everything everywhere. We are suddenly swathed in sweaters and wearing boots and bombarded by shades of orange, often even before the thermometer warrants it.
EarthSky News: Equinox sun is over Earth’s equator
The 2020 autumnal equinox for the Northern Hemisphere (spring equinox for the Southern Hemisphere) happens on Tuesday, September 22, at 13:31 UTC. At this special moment – the instant of the September equinox – the sun is at zenith, or straight overhead, as seen from Earth’s equator.
3 Pagans And A Cat: Celebrating Autumn, Mabon, Harvest: What’s In A Name?
Recently, Phoenix LeFae of The Witches Next Door shared a post titled “Mabon is Dumb.” My first reaction was “Whoa, don’t hate on Autumn!” And then I have to admit chuckling a bit as I read her article. Here’s why.
The acorn is a symbol of strength and power. In the fall, these tiny yet hardy little nuggets drop from the oak trees to land on the ground. Most will be eaten by passing wildlife, but a few will survive to form a new tree in the spring

Inner Journey: BRING AWARENESS TO YOUR GENEROSITY
“Generosity lies less in giving much than in giving at the right moment.” — Jean De La Bruyère
While it’s important to give, it’s also essential that we not give more than we can afford. Only you can determine the appropriate amount of time or money you can give away, but it should not cause you hardship. We need to respect our own needs as well as the needs of others.
When do you give more than you can afford?
“Generosity is another quality which, like patience, letting go, non-judging, and trust, provides a solid foundation for mindfulness practice. You might experiment with using the cultivation of generosity as a vehicle for deep self-observation and inquiry as well as an exercise in giving.” — Jon Kabat Zinn

Light
“Science and art may invent splendid modes of illuminating the apartments of the opulent; but these are all poor and worthless compared with the light which the sun pours freely, impartially, over hill and valley, which kindles daily the eastern and western sky; and so the common lights of reason and conscience and love are of more worth and dignity than the rare endowments which give celebrity to a few.”
-William Ellery Channing (1780-1842) The light of day, the morning sun steaming through our window gives us a sense of newness, and optimism. We share the sun, it warms each of us without playing favorites. Songs are written about the sun, and the happiness it brings.

Harvest gratitude and fill your basket with what you have accomplished and grown in this cycle. ~Cat
_______________________________
922: Today is the Autumn Equinox, Mabon or Harvest Home to those of us who follow the pagan traditions. Gratitude is our keyword and it goes hand in hand with this seasonal celebration. Faith is part of gratitude, and the stronger our faith the more we manifest and the more we have to be grateful for. This is a good time to perform a self check and think about the gifts and miracles that have blessed your life so far this year. By looking back we can see how far we have come from spring and the thought seeds that we planted at that time. Make sure to nurture the “new growth” and to harvest what’s ready now. Embrace your blessings with a grateful heart and affirm that you have faith that they will continue to be abundant in your life.

Today we honor the goddess aspects of the Sacred Feminine. They are the Earth Mothers and Harvest goddesses that are associated with this harvest festival (Demeter, Persephone, Pomona).
Archangel Ariel helps us to embrace our own divine magick which strengthens our manifestation process. Since she works with the earth and environment (nature angels and sprite too) she can help those unfamiliar with the Sacred Feminine work connect with her.
The Ascended Master Mother Mary provides us with all forms of healing. She surrounds us with her gentle energy and helps to fill our hearts with love as she imparts feelings of peace and safety as she gently heals the dark, hidden places within while showing us the path that leads to compassion and forgiveness which are essential to healing ourselves and helping others. She helps to fill our hearts with peace and love and helps everyone regardless of path or religion
The Ascended Master Krishna can also be honored today as we ask him to help us see life’s blessings more clearly.
The Greek goddess Persephone teaches us how to balance between light and dark and the importance of searching the shadows for what is lost or forgotten. Persephone tells us “Don’t be afraid to unearth what lies beneath or has been hidden. By shedding light in dark or weedy places you often find treasures that you had forgotten or set aside. These treasures can form the foundations that you need to navigate your path in life.”
The Irish Goddess Dana helps us to generate abundance through gratitude. She says, “While you wait for these blessings to arrive fill your heart with feelings of abundance. Engage yourself in things that make you feel abundant!” Your energy is also linked to the energy of the Divine. Acknowledge and strengthen this connection as it allows you to handcraft your dreams.”

Today’s Sacred Stones include:
Aquamarine balance’s emotions that can become frayed during the changes that new cycles create. It helps us to move forward and navigate the ebb and flow of life. This stone also shields the aura, aligns the chakras and promotes communication from the higher realms.
Tree Agate (Dendritic) to strengthen your connection to the plant kingdom and help you to enjoy each moment. It is also known as the stone of plenitude and promotes abundance while showing us the “wealth” we already have.
Malachite. Which helps to support friendships and promotes empathy towards others. It also strengthens our ability to absorb and process information so that we can show our feelings in a positive way. Malachite helps those making aggressive personal or life changes. It brings a sense of adventure to our transformation as it shows us what is blocking our spiritual growth and the best way to move forward.

921: Many of our daily readings revolve around faith, in both the universe and in yourself. I’m sure that you’ve noticed that some days your faith is strong while on others you may feel like things aren’t working out or that what you do doesn’t matter. (This is normal, it happens) Take a moment to acknowledge your feelings, even indulge in a short pity party if you like, then pick yourself up, dust yourself off and remind yourself that you are worthy, strong and nothing will hold you back. Today, the angels want us to know that everything we do is important, even the small things. Help and support are always available and it’s only a request away. If your faith is feeling puny today start by grounding, clearing and centering and then ask (Spirit, angels, masters) for a little TLC and support. Make sure to release any negative thoughts and feelings that you may be holding and regain your light-ness of being!

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:
Archangel Raphael teaches us that it is through our spiritual journey that we can heal our selves and our lives and regain our self confidence and faith. This opens our spiritual eyes so that we may see what we have and how blessed we truly are as it teaches us how to make room for new things through the clearing out process. He helps to clear the way so that we can achieve balance by removing the blocks associated with giving and receiving by promoting flexibility in thinking and attitude.
The Ascended Master Sanat Kumara teaches us that we have an unlimited supply of personal power and helps us find the energy we need to keep going and rise above negative experiences and thought patterns. This gives us the skills we need to strengthen our personal boundaries so that we can be and stay strong in situations where we need to be.
The Hindu Goddess Devi helps us to find meaning in our lives and gently guides us in learning to follow our own inner wisdom. She says “Take my hand and let me guide you on your journey of self discovery. You need only look within to find your true meaning. Release your cares to me and I will purify your heart and spirit so that new information can be sent to you. “
