Thought for the Day: July 27, 2017 “Being Quiet”

Happy Thursday!

While communication is a good and necessary thing there are times when the best communication takes place when we are quiet. Our ability to really listen is as important as our ability to effectively communicate. If we are too wrapped up in ourselves we lose the ability to really listen this in turn can keep others from listening to us. It’s  50/50 and give and take. The best communicators are the best listeners.

Standing Your Ground: Cat’s Angel Message for July 7, 2017

77: We know from past readings that our path is unique and that we are the only one who know what we need. Today, the angels are giving us a little advice. “Stand your ground where your path is concerned.” There will always be people, including loved ones,  who will try to push you in a different direction. This can happen for various reasons like fear, greed, or simply because they think they know what’s best for you. If you know with every fiber of your being that your path doesn’t go that direction bless the situation with love and keep moving forward. The key is to honor their concern for you, by sifting through the information, consider what has merit and file away or discard the rest.

Archangel Jeremiel helps us to make life reviews and changes. Horus helps us to see people in any given situation through the eyes of love. He helps us to stand our ground and promotes courage and strength. Forseti (Norse) helps us to resolve arguments in a kind and fair manner. Archangel Raguel also helps us in resolving arguments while promoting harmony between you and others. Our sacred stone for the day is Howlite. This stone helps us to formulate and achieve our ambitions and goals and helps us to communicate these things calmly and reasonably.

73: Today we find ourselves surrounded by the loving guidance of the Ascended Masters. Since the ascended masters once walked the earth in human form they understand how wonderful and how difficult life paths can be. They offer a more “human” perspective and their energy is more big brother-sister-ish than that of the angels. But like the angels they offer valuable guidance and assistance when we ask them for help.

Happy Monday & Welcome To a New Week! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, we did a little fishing and spent the day at one of our favorite lakes.


Our ability to communicate with others plays an important role in all areas of our lives. It touches everything from our jobs to our relationships. But there comes a time when we realize that our communication skills don’t work with all people. We all see things from different perspectives and draw upon different life lessons and experiences. This is what makes us unique. A difference of opinion doesn’t make someone wrong and in most cases it’s just what they have seen from life. I have found that the best way to deal with this is look for a common thread and use it to weave a line of communication. Look to your own experiences as well because it may just give you the common ground to build something better.
