Our quote for today really makes you think. We often do things that we see (or others see) as a waste of time. I guess that it’s a perspective thing. Sometimes what we see as a waste of time is actually helping us to regroup and recharge. It can be healing, relaxing, and a much needed mini getaway from life and it’s problems. Take that “waste of time” and make it part of your self care routine.

413: There are times when we could all use some extra loving, healing energy. When we feel a little needy or emotionally insecure it can be because we have given away too much of ourselves and need to replenish our energies. Down time, nature time or alone time can help you to recharge. Today the Universe is giving us a boost by surrounding us with the essential energies we need to be balanced and at peace. Remember to ground, clear and center. This helps this helps you to let go of the negative nasty’s that are sapping your energy. Everyone needs a break from the demands of others so allow yourself this emotional and spiritual spa day!
This is a good time to ask Archangel Michael for assistance. When we are bombarded with the energy of others (negative or not) it creates psychic lines and hooks that attach to our energy field and effectively drain our energy. One of my spiritual mentors taught me this simple exercise: “Archangel Michael please cut away all psychic hooks, lines and cords that have been attached to me others. Please return these things to the people who sent them, not to do do them harm, simply to return what is theirs.” When I do this I always feel a tingly sensation on my neck/back etc followed by a sense of relief and the Ascended Master Buddha shows us the path to find peace within and relax.
Amethyst is a powerful protector and helps to guard against psychic attack it is also the stone of Archangel Michael. Rose Quartz give us an emotional bubble bath. It soothes, promotes self love and healing of both heart and spirit and Amazonite will soothe and calm the emotions as it dispels negative energy and aggravation.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, and tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
