29: In some respects we all share a very similar life purpose in that we all have something that we can share with others in need. These Humanitarian acts can complex or as simple as a smile or hug, kind or encouraging words or just being a good listener. Today the Universe is reminding us that we are all qualified to do these small and simple things. Make time today to be there for someone else. Embrace self confidence and listen to your heart as it guides you on this path of service. If it resonates with your spirit you are on the right path. In helping others we often find that we are helping ourselves as well and small acts of compassion and kindness can make a big difference.
Today’s Spirit Helpers include:
Archangel Zadkiel teaches us that true compassion and healing lie in our ability to forgive ourselves and others. This is especially helpful when we endeavor to lead by example. It is through forgiveness that we gain insight into what assistance will be beneficial to self and others.
The Ascended Master Mother Mary provides us with all forms of healing. She surrounds us with her gentle energy and helps to fill our hearts with love as she imparts feelings of peace and safety as she gently heals the dark, hidden places within while showing us the path that leads to compassion and forgiveness which are essential to healing ourselves and helping others.
The Celtic Goddess Aeracura shows us the way to expand and share our loving energy. She tells us, ” Playfulness and a carefree spirit are the heart of true abundance. By sharing of yourselves it creates an energy that spreads and grows.”

Chalcedony brings mind, body, spirit, and emotions into harmony by calming fear, anger or self doubt. It also promotes good feelings towards self and others.
Deep blue Lapis Lazuli helps to open the Third Eye Chakra (mind’s eye) and stimulates our personal power. It also harmonizes our energies on all levels as this balance and strengthens our knowledge of self. It also helps us to confront the truth of a situation and promotes acceptance of the lesson involved. It promotes clarity and helps us express our opinions in a positive manner and teaches us the value of being an active listener.

319: Today the angels are asking us to review the ways that we can be of service to others. This can be as simple as lending a helping hand to a friend, family member, neighbor or even stranger. You can pay someone a compliment, give a hug or even a smile. Sometimes the best service we can provide is by simply setting a good example or just being a good listener Every day we inspire others even though we may not be aware of doing so. Through patience, compassion and positive focus we can help ourselves and others lead healthier and more peaceful lives. Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most and make the biggest impact!

Trust me, one egg is enough to make a sumptuous Egg Drop Soup! The problem I find with egg drop soup recipes is that the timing for the egg drop is never right, so the egg never separates into true ribbons. My Chinese father taught me the trick to this soup, which I now pass to you!

We all want to see world peace and healing. But it won’t happen overnight. All of us have a role to play in making things better. While some are bound to create big things the truth is that most of us can help by doing the small ones. Speak the truth. Speak with compassion. Do good where you can and be kind. Small, simple things matter and the more small, simple things we do the greater the effect and impact.
Small acts of kindness are important. Kind words, acts of compassion, a phone call, your time, a smile, a helping hand. We are all capable of these things every day and maybe right most of all. We are all in this together and through kindness, we can make a difference.
How do you face the world? Do you greet it with a smile or is your “resting bitch face” always in place”? This phrase has become the expression de jour in the last several years and is actually a mild form of rudeness that has become “acceptable.” A smile is a gift that takes mere seconds to share with someone. Smiles make you feel good and can release happy endorphins in your brain. A smile makes others feel good too. Share this free gift with those around you and change someone’s day.
