It is natural in the moments of a huge upset all you can see is the downside. But never forget there are two side to everything we encounter. It just depends on what you put your attention to.
Daily Practice:Keep your mind focused on the benefits you are striving to achieve with every step you make forward. Do not let little setbacks distract you from focusing on what you set to achieve. Visualize what the end goal is. Re-evaluate your steps and re-implement some of them if you need to. But make sure you are focusing on what you want not on what is distracting you from achieving it.

Coffey Talk: Lucky Ladybug
Many people shriek at the site of a bug, but the ladybug evokes smiles. This pretty little red and black creature is a symbol that we often see in the Spring and Summer printed on clothes and linens along with other garden images.
The ladybird or ladybug as we’ve known to call them, is actually a member of the beetle family. It is mentioned in numerous poems and nursery rhymes and is a favorite among children because of this. The ladybird has always been dedicated to the goddesses is said to be named for the Virgin Mary. The ladybird is a symbol of good luck of prosperity and also of fertility since it is a prolific insect. One tale says that if a ladybird lands in a female’s hand, she will be married within a year.
The ladybird is also a symbol of protection. There is a story that took place in the Middle Ages where aphids and other pests were ruining the crops. In desperation, the farmers were praying to the Virgin Mary for help. Shortly afterwards, ladybirds appeared and decimated the aphids. This is symbolic of the power of the beautiful beetle and the strength that could be found in the little things. The whole is more than the sum of the parts.
The ladybird is able to protect itself from larger predators because it gives off a scent that is so strong and repellent to its attackers. It is self-reliant. The number of spots on its back is symbolic as well. The spots are said to be a marker of the time it will take for something good to happen.

Tonight, look for the star Vega, the fifth brightest star in the sky. If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, you’ll find this beautiful bluish star easily, simply by looking northeastward at mid-evening in May.
Try it! Just look northeast in mid-evening in May. You’ll see this bright bluish star shining above that horizon. From far south in the Southern Hemisphere, you can’t see this star until late at night in May because Vega is located so far north on the sky’s dome. Vega will reach its high point for the night around 3 to 4 hours after midnight, at which time people in the Southern Hemisphere can see this star in the northern sky. As seen from mid-northern latitudes, the star shines high overhead at this early morning hour.
