Thought for the Day: July 11, 2017 “Careful Words”

Happy Tuesday, I hope your week is going well so far! We are starting the day with a “brief” rain shower…. and I mean brief… but hey the cat came in wet so I guess the lawn got wet too. 🙂

Our thought today is about the power of the spoken word. The simple truth is that words wield great power. They can bring joy, peace and comfort, but they are also capable of causing great harm if carelessly thrown out there. The Dali Lama says “always be kind” and this is good advice whether it’s deed or word. Think before you speak and speak with kindness. The goal is to lift others up not knock them to the ground.

Happy Monday and welcome to a regular week…. you know one without a middle of the week holiday to mess you up!

How we view life is all about perception. The same is true for Monday’s. People hate Monday’s it’s the day you have to go back to work. But it’s also a new beginning. A new cycle where anything is possible and like the Phoenix we can create something new from the ashes of the old. Try looking at today with fresh perspective, envision the amazing possibilities that lie ahead and embrace your power as the creator of your own story!

Service Through Purpose: Cat’s Angel Message for July 9, 2017 

July’s Theme: Life Path – Divine Guidance – Action

79: Our message today involves giving sacred service through our life purpose. For some this means offering themselves to the community or to the world. Yet for others sacred service revolves around their partner, children, family or extended family. Every day, whether we are aware of it or not we  have the ability to make a difference or influence someone’s life in a positive way . The Angels are letting us know that we are on the right path and that even if we’re not exactly sure of what our life purpose is we are making a difference in our world!

Archangels Chamuel and Michael as well as Ascended Masters Saint Francis and Saint Germain can help shed light on what our life purpose is. We also have help from a few other Ascended Masters as well.  Brigit  helps us find direction. Kuthumi helps to free us from distractions that keep us from our purpose. Our Sacred Stone for the  day is Sugilite. This stone brings purple ray energy to earth. It embodies spiritual love and wisdom and assists in opening the chakras. This stone can also help you find the answers to “Why am I here and What is my purpose?”

78: If you’ve been doing the work that has been outlined over the last several months then you should have a good idea of your overall progress regarding prosperity and abundance. However, if you’ve been slacking and letting weeds grow on your path then the Angels want you to know that it’s time to get started. It’s easier and less “stress-full” to clear as we go instead of putting it off and becoming overwhelmed. Our lives and paths are works in progress. They both require effort and elbow grease to make things happen. Use the old grade school lesson of  Stop-Look- Listen to help you navigate “success-fully”.


*STOP and perform a self assessment: Are you where you need/want to be?


*LOOK forward not back.


*LISTEN to your inner guidance system.


Archangel Michael helps us to get moving in the right direction. If you feel lost or stuck he helps us to find our courage and offers clear guidance that helps us make the best decisions  possible. We can also call on the Egyptian goddess Maat to help us see through confusing situations by showing us the truth of the matter. Our Sacred Stone for today is Green Calcite which helps heal the physical body and invites divine flow into our lives.

Happy Friday!


Our thought for the day is about forgiveness. One of the misconceptions about forgiving others is that once you do this everything is supposed to be okay. While this can sometimes be the case more often than not this is not how it works. There are just some things that cannot or should not be fixed. But think about this…..the biggest reason to forgive others is personal peace. By holding an unforgiving attitude we are giving another power over us. Peace of mind is more important than grudge holding. Do your best to forgive and let go, take back your power and move forward into something better!

Do you know what negative people hate the most? People with a positive attitude. Sometimes we allow negative people to influence us and our thinking. If we’re not careful we become bogged down it.  The goal of miserable, negative people everywhere lives in the old saying “Misery loves company”. Today is a good day to annoy those Negative Nellies by sharing your positive “git er done” attitude with those around you. Dazzle them with a smile and your awesome sparkle!

Let’s start today with some advice from a garden. There are some good tips listed but I’m going to add a few of my own. * Bloom where you are planted.  * Grow tall and reach for the sun.  * Be bold and colorful. *Offer encourage-mint.  If you can come up with a few more please feel free to share!

Happy Monday!


Holidays and long weekends can be stressful, particularly if you are not a large group type of person. Just remember that it okay to step back for a bit and regroup. If you are an introvert (like me) sometimes just hanging out on the fringes of a group works just fine. It’s a great way to still be sociable and maintain your comfort zone. Breathe, laugh, enjoy!

Good Morning and Happy Thursday!


Peace and inner peace is not provided by others. It cannot be found in the things you have or don’t have. It can only be provided by YOU. It’s a gift that you give to yourself. Peacefulness is found in knowing when and what to let go of and by acknowledging the things that really matter. Peacefulness is the equivalent of spiritual as it’s an attitude, a way of living and a personal choice that honors your inner divine being.

Do you have Hopes? Dreams?  Goals? Of course you do, we all do! We all know people who have buried their hopes and dreams for the sake of someone else. This often comes from fear. Fear of failure,  of being themselves, of what others think or even change. It’s in our nature to want something better and to do what makes our hearts and spirits sing. By embracing your courage (even a little at a time) your path opens up before you to reveal all the awesomeness your life has to offer!
