Thought For The Day: August 6, 2019 ” Silly Little Things”

Happy Tuesday,

Annoyance and frustration can happen over the smallest of things and it is often these things that we allow to ruin our day, our week and sometimes our lives. Take a moment and just breathe, walk away and hit the reset button. Make a conscious choice to let it go or let it be. as a friend of mine used to say “Don’t sweat the petty sh*t”!

True beauty is more than a pretty or handsome face and a gym build body. Beauty comes from within and the outside appearance  really doesn’t matter. Kindness, compassion, empathy and love make everyone beautiful. It’s sad that people feel the need to shame others. People who feel the need to do this to others maybe pretty outside but they are ugly on the inside. Remember…. you are  an amazing, sparkly being so let your unique beauty shine!

No one would learn or grow. Discoveries would never be made and new things never invented and the world would be a place filled with boring lumps of humanity. Happy Wednesday,

Communication is important in any relationship. It’s how we make things work, work things out and strengthen our ties with those around us. Real communication requires effort from both people, every day, and all the time. However, the truth is that not everyone is willing or able to communicate on an in depth level, and try as we might we simply can’t force them to talk things out. They would rather ignore it, bury it, forget about it (maybe you will too) and hope it goes away, because if they don’t they might have to take responsibility for themselves. Lack of communication is a relationship killer and there comes a time when we must look at that relationship and decide if it’s really worth it.

We tend to forget that solution to our problems never happen all at once. Fear and impatience and two of the major causes of anxiety and stress. In my Daily Angel Messages ( available on The Desert Path) we talk about “Baby Steps” and how they can help us to achieve our goals. Taking small steps can also help when anxiety tells us that a solution “must be found now”. Set a plan in motion and take steps every day to reach your desired outcome.
