I love this quote! One thing I’ve noticed is that people don’t really listen anymore. Good listeners are rare birds, like our Wise Old Owl. If we want others to listen to us we must first be willing to listen to them. By being willing to listen we are showing our compassion and respect for others. It tells them that their thoughts and words are important. Listening is a two way street, in order to be listened to, you must first be a listener.

110: Today’s number packs some strong energy that relates to your life and your path. Communication will be important today so pay attention to the information and guidance that comes your way. It’s will be important to stay focused on what you want to accomplish as this focus will help open the doors that you need to move forward. Remember that help comes in many forms, some of which will be unexpected or simply come out of the blue. The key will be in taking the information that you receive from your “sources” and sifting through it. Pick out what is best for YOU and discard the rest. We have two Egyptian goddesses who are offering their assistance today. Hathor helps us to overcome indecision and grants us the ability to hear and trust the voices of the Divine and that of our own heart. Maat is the goddess of truth. She helps us to see the truth within the messages we receive. She also shows the truth and motivations behind the people and situations that present themselves. Archangel Jophiel teaches us to surround ourselves with beauty and shows us that slowing down and taking our time is the best way to make the most of the information we receive. Our Sacred Stone for the day is Azurite. This stone can used to guide the development of intuition as it expands the mind to promote clear thinking, understanding and new perspectives.

Old habits are like a pair of old shoes. We tell ourselves that they are comfortable even though they are worn out and smell funny. We all have habits that hold us back and need to be thrown away (just like those old shoes). Why do we hang on to these things? Fear of trying, fear of change, fear of finding something better………….. Be courageous today and start creating some new and awesome habits, start small and build from there. The sky’s the limit, you just need to reach for it!

Through Unselfish Effort: Cat’s Angel Message for January 9, 2018

The unselfish effort to bring cheer to others will be the beginning of a happier life for ourselves.

19: Today’s message is about sacred service and our life purpose. One of the misconceptions about service and life purpose is that we are suppose to be out offering our time, and energy to the community or to the world. While this path is the right one for some  it’s not true for everyone, although it can be very fulfilling. Sometimes we are more comfortable doing the small things.  Our sacred service can revolve around a  partner, children, family or extended family. Everyday, whether we are aware of it or not, we make a difference to someone or influence someone’s life in a positive way. Today the angels are asking us to share your optimistic glow while projecting good vibes to those around you. Remember that the little things add up so don’t be afraid to be of service to someone who needs something that you can provide.

Here are a few small ways to be of service:

  • Do something nice for someone who has been feeling down.
  • Become a volunteer at a charity that touches your spirit.
  • Do something nice for an elderly relative, friend or neighbor.
  • Donate blood.
  • Donate craft items to a local community center, Veterans organization or nursing home.
  • Smile and share your beautiful energy with others.

The Chinese goddess/ bodhisattva Kuan Yin shows us how to live a life of compassion and teaches us how to show kindness to ourselves and others. Archangel Zadkiel teaches us that true compassion and healing lies in our ability to to forgive ourselves and others and Ascended Master Buddha fills our hearts with love and brings peace and joy to our spirits. Our Sacred Stone for today is Desert Rose (Selenite). These beautiful stone “flowers” help to increase our understanding of our own personal value in the universal plan. it dissolves self imposed programing and help us replace it with something more positive.

People have different views, thoughts, and ways of doing things…. it’s what makes us individuals. Just because someone doesn’t share your views doesn’t make them wrong, stupid or misguided. These views are most often created through perspective and  personal experience. While we may share an experience with someone else it’s our personal perspective that changes things. Remember, just because something works for you doesn’t mean that it works for everyone. Our greatest strengths lie in our differences and being able to get past them. Agree to disagree and move on.

18: A new year means new beginnings, however new things can sit in the wings if you haven’t done the work necessary to tie up any/all loose ends. Whatever you have pending, putting off, or ignoring will hold you back and keep you from moving forward and generating new blessings. Today the Universe is telling us that it’s time to get moving because our time to shine is here…… NOW. Finish old business to make room for new opportunities. Allow your inner wisdom to guide you, you already know what you need to let go of so find your strength and courage to do the work to make it happen. Free yourself and your energy to become the amazing creator that you are meant to be!

Archangel Michael helps us find the courage and motivation we need to tie up loose ends and finish things while surrounding us with his divine protection. The Chinese goddess Kuan Yin knows that pain often accompanies the letting go process. Our Sacred Stone for today is Amethyst. This stone works with Michael and aids in overall protection, cleansing and healing. It helps us to focus on what we need to do and promotes common sense and spiritual insight into our decision making process.

17: Sometimes it feels like no one notices when we seek to improve ourselves or our situation. people are more likely to tell us that we are screwing up instead of saying “Good Job”. So today we are receiving a big hug from the Angels. They simply want you to know that you are doing a good job and are on the right path.  They are surrounding  you with positive vibes so open up to receive this gift. Embrace this energy and then send it back out in the universe. This helps you to draw and generate more good things that can be shared with others.  The angels are also asking us to acknowledge the work of others. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone told someone else “Good job!” “Way to go!” or “Thank you for doing your best!” It is through simple things like these that inspire the growth of unity and community. Share some of your optimistic energy today with others for a win-win situation.

Archangel Haniel helps us to be patient with ourselves and with others. She teaches us how to live in grace and peace. The Egyptian goddess Isis fills us with peaceful power, confidence and graceful strength. 16:   Today the Universe is asking us to take this month’s theme to heart and stay focused on the positive things in our lives.  The important of balance cannot be stressed enough, especially where material things are concerned. By learning to balance our material thoughts or worries with positive focus and faith we are able to see things differently. We realize that our needs really are being met and that our life is full of tiny miracles. Allow positive focus, confidence and  faith to be our guide today. Ask the Universe for help if needed and turn over all worries to the angels so that your energy is fee to welcome new blessings!

Archangel Raphael opens our spiritual eyes so that we may see what we have and how blessed we truly are and by teaching us how to make room for new things through the clearing out process. The Ascended Master  Buddha teaches us how to live the “middle way” and how to embrace moderation in all things, this allows us to achieve balance and leads to peace and growth.

15: A new year brings many things that are change related. For example when we make New Year’s resolutions we are attempting to initiate personal changes. We often see change as a scary thing however more often than not these changes are good things. Change = Growth, so try seeing  these changes as seeds to be planted and nurtured. By perceiving change in this way we find that we have more control and are more prepared when our ‘seeds of change”  grow to maturity. Today the Universe is telling us that something in our life is about to change and new things are headed our way. These changes will be for the better so don’t let fear hold you back. Remember, the seeds of change that you plant along your path will help pave the way for success. Ask for Divine help if you need it and listen to your inner wisdom. You know what you need to do and this is about creating the life you want.
