These smooth, low-lying lunar plains are called maria, the plural for the word mare), the Latin word for sea. You should be able to see the darkened portions on the moon with the eye alone. Are you taking enough time for yourself or are you giving it all away?
Are you achieving balance between work and your personal life?
Are you giving and receiving energy equally? Or tipping the scales?

Taking the time to to see where we stand is important. Remember, if our energy is off kilter it drains our energy making us tired, emotional, anxious, depressed, cranky or even just plain angry. The Ascended Masters are stepping in to assist today as they have a more intimate knowledge of the problems and feelings we face everyday. Even if you have no pressing issues today their presence and loving energy can enliven and uplift you. Today is also a good time to ground-clear and center. This helps to not only free up our energy but opens us to the supportive energies sent by the universe.

The Ascended Master Buddha is called the Enlightened or Awakened One. During his life he lived as both prince and ascetic. When he achieved true enlightenment he came to realize that the key to happy living required moderation and balance in all things. 722: Your path is like a road trip. It consists of many sights and attractions, some good and some bad. We encounter bumps, potholes and roadblocks mixed in with some truly breathtaking and inspiring scenery. We even find side paths that lead us on a merry chase all the while teaching us valuable lessons along the way. However, in order to grow we need to keep moving forward. This requires focus on our desired destination, even if we’re not quite sure how to get there. The key is to stay strong and believe in yourself. 720: Navigating our path requires generous amounts of courage, confidence and a few pinches of faith. We must also have an open heart and an open mind to receive the messages and guidance that we receive. The key is remembering that messengers and messages come in all forms. (nature, music, animals, children, physical objects etc.) We can see them, hear them and even feel them. Today the Universe is telling us that important information is on the way and that we need to stay open and in the present. Don’t allow fear to overrule your judgement because you are always safe and cared for. Keep to your path and absorb the information as you travel. You just never know what may produce a valuable AHA! moment.

MNN: This tiny fern could help fight climate change

A fern with leaves no larger than a gnat could be one of the most important plants on Earth.

Researchers have sequenced the genome of Azolla filiculoides, a bright green fern with a long history, and they’ve discovered the genes that give the fern some incredible abilities: It’s able to “fix” nitrogen on its own, to ward off insects and to be a carbon sink.

It also helps us to use this information to our best advantage. Today we are receiving a big hug from our spiritual helpers. Their message is simple, ” Your power gives you the momentum to move forward toward your goals with a light heart and open mind.”
