July’s  Full Blessing Moon

Friday, July 27,2018

 1:20 pm PST / 2:20 pm MST / 4:20 pm EST
The Farmer’s Almanac calls this moon the Buck Moon because this is the time when bucks grow new antlers. Other names for this full moon are Thunder Moon, Summer Moon (colonial ), Hungry Ghost Moon (china), Ripe Corn Moon (Cherokee), Crane Moon (Choctaw), Moon of Claiming (Celtic), Mead Moon (Medieval English), Rose Moon, Blessing Moon (pagan).

The July moon is also being called a Micromoon, Minimoon or Apogee Moon.  This is because a Micromoon is further away, and will look smaller and less bright. There will also be a lunar eclipse ( the 2nd  this year) at 4:20 EST. It will be visible in large parts of Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America and  will last for 103 minutes, making it the longest eclipse of this 21st century. As an added celestial treat the Mars opposition will also be happening. The red planet will be very close and will be shining at it brightest!

The Buck Moon is a good time for divination, dream work and prosperity magick. The laid back energy of this moon also works well for meditation, so kick back and enjoy the feeling of the things you have accomplished this far or review your goals related to vacations or hobbies.. Add a little something extra to your magickal workings by using July’s herbs hyssop, lemon balm, mugwort, catnip or leaves from ash or oak trees.

You can also celebrate this months moon by wearing the colors blue-gray, silver or green and adorning yourself with moonstone, pearls, opals or a simple white agate.

While Spirit and the Angels are here to help us we must do our part to make things happen. Always look for the “one good thing” and be willing to accept the good into your life in whatever manner it presents itself. Use your super powers of optimism and hope to keep the ball rolling and embrace the principle of divine timing. Remember that you are a powerful creator and the stronger your faith the more you can create. Today the Angels are asking us to surround ourselves with faith. Listen to the divine and inner guidance you receive and take action accordingly.




 Archangel Michael  protects us at all time and that includes the times when we are striving to make things happen. He helps us to find our inner strength and courage which boosts our personal power of creation. The Ascended Master  Jesus is the embodiment of faith. He provides a clear and direct line of communication to the Divine Source and he helps all who ask for assistance and The Hawaiian fire goddess Pele helps us to ignite our inner fire. This fire when channeled correctly helps to fuel our passions and sense of purpose. Pele’s message is “Within you lives the sacred fire that gives life to your greatest dreams and passions. This part of you must be allowed to come forward, not smothered beneath fear, resentment or the expectations of others. Your fire will help you forge new paths!”




The Sacred Stones for today are, Chalcedony that brings mind, body, spirit and emotions into harmony by calming fear, anger or self doubt. It also promotes good feeling towards self and others. Turquoise helps to purify our energy by clearing away the negatives. It enhances our problem solving skills and protects us against self self sabotaging thoughts and actions.

We are more than we give ourselves credit for. Each of us harbors those little thoughts that tell us that we are not enough. Those thoughts can pop up when we are faced with something new (job, relationship, challenge etc) and sometimes we listen to them. The truth is that when this happens the only thing holding you back is you. You are worthy of good things and capable of creating them on your behalf. When that annoying voice pops up pat it on the head and escort it to the back of the line. Then find the voice that says ‘Hell Yes! Let’s make some magick happen!”

725:  Whether we like it or not change is a part of our path and is necessary for both personal and spiritual growth. Whether change happens naturally or we initiate it ourselves there are always feelings of uncertainty that come with it. Today the Angels are letting us know that our faith in the changes we are experiencing is well founded. Things are moving, wheels are turning and tiny miracles are lining up. This is also a reminder that during these changes that we and our loved ones are safe and cared for. By seeing change as an adventure we are surrounding ourselves with an armor of positive energy which in turn draws good things our way!

Challenges and  Distractions: Cat’s Angel Message for July 24, 2018 


 July’s Theme: Pay attention to your path. Spirit is speaking to you so get ready to receive some important guidance. If something compels you to take action this is the time to go for it!




To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for, where you want to go and why you want to get there. – Kofi Annan




724: Sometimes things happen that make it difficult to stay on our chosen path. Every day brings us new challenges and distractions (OOOoo look! Shiny!!) These distractions often come in the form of well meaning people who “just want to help”. (We all know a few of these right?) Just remember that it’s YOUR path. Be honest with yourself because  you are the only one who knows what’s best for you. If the advice you are given doesn’t mesh or is an attempt to push in a direction you’d rather not go, remind yourself that the choice is yours to make. There are also times when we question ourselves and the guidance we receive. This can happen during moments of self doubt or fear. If this happens today (or any day) take a moment to center and focus. Then ask yourself “Is this really what I want?” or “What is best for me?” Listen to the guidance that you receive and above all trust in yourself!




Archangel Michael helps to calm our fears and guides us through issues of self doubt. He helps us to find our courage and our direction. Michael’s energy is easily felt particularly during times of stress, confusion or when we are about head off in the wrong direction.  The Ascended Master Saint Germain works with Archangel Michael. He also provides courage and direction as well as helping us deal with those well meaning people who try to push us away from our path and the Egyptian Goddess Maat helps us find our truth by being honest with ourselves about what we want and where we want go.
