How often do you hear people complain about how slow their computers are, or their dial-up, or the pizza guy? And all that spills over into our expectations for ourselves. We want that great job NOW, that dream relationship NOW, enlightenment NOW! But we have to remember that there is always divine timing involved. The seed needs time to sprout, the sprout needs time to grow. We are like that sprout that needs to keep pushing up the dirt, keep reaching toward the sun. We’re growing every day.

I love this because it applies in so many ways. Writers go about submitting their work and it gets rejected so many times, that they end up feeling like a chunk of coal! Or that their work, which they poured so much of their heart into, is just a chunk of coal. But, ah, when they stick to the job, keep writing, keep submitting – someone recognizes the beauty. The diamond comes shining through! We just can’t give up, no matter what business we’re in, or what we are going for. Our persistence pays off.

Today’s Recipe: Snickers-Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies


Every year around Halloween, I like to come up with a sweet treat that uses candies from trick-or-treating events. Either you have kids that end up with lots of them, or you have loads leftover from handing them out. My favourite candy has always been Snickers, so these peanut butter cookies are stuffed with them. The outside is a lovely sandy, crumbly cookie, and the middle is gooey and chewy from the baked Snickers. I’ve had a dozen people ask me for this recipe after an event I made them for last week, so be ready to share if you make these, too!

I’ve always heard this quote, and never knew who said it, so I was happy to come across it this time around. How appropriate! In this fast-paced society we tend to expect instant gratification. How often do you hear people complain about how slow their computers are, or their dial-up, or the pizza guy? And all that spills over into our expectations for ourselves. We want that great job NOW, that dream relationship NOW, enlightenment NOW! But we have to remember that there is always divine timing involved. The seed needs time to sprout, the sprout needs time to grow. We are like that sprout that needs to keep pushing up the dirt, keep reaching toward the sun. We’re growing every day.

107:  Today we are being reminded to listen to our own intuition in conjunction with divine guidance. It’s time to explore our own potential by staying focused on the present. Through the acknowledgment of our innate gifts, we find the paths to manifestation opening up before us. These paths branch out in many different directions and when we open our connection to the Universe we find the guidance we need to navigate the twists and turns. When you receive sudden thoughts, ideas or inspirations, be sure to take the time to examine them in a positive light as they contain the information we need to make things happen. Don’t be afraid to embrace something new and always look for creative solutions that will open new doors. You truly are able to and worthy of creating your ultimate future!




Archangel Michael helps to calm our fears as he guides us through issues of self doubt by clearing our energy field and quieting the internal chatter so that we can access the guidance being sent to us. He helps us to find our courage and our direction while giving us the strength that we need to choose wisely and make decisions on our own. She tells us, “All the skills and knowledge you need for success lives within you. Your inner wisdom is a powerful thing and you know in your heart when something is good and right.”

It calms and quiets internal chatter and “monkey mind”, which in turn enables us to relax and allow grounding and balancing to take place which helps us to focus.

It also helps us to look for and find the truth and makes it possible to stand up for our personal beliefs while remaining true to yourself by boosting our confidence and self esteem.
