Thought For The Day: June 4, 2019 “Fear”

Happy Tuesday,

Our thought for today reminds us that while we all have fears we do have choices of how we handle them. Sometimes our fears override our common sense, our desire to move forward or our quest for personal evolution.  How we handle our fears is a personal choice. Running is easy while rising takes courage. What will you do?

Elephant Journal: New Moon Meditation: Sowing Seeds for Love, Joy & Abundance

Once upon a time I was keen on manifesting my desires. Now, I’m more interested in surrendering to the Divine’s plan for my life.
That’s not to say I don’t experience any desire for particular things and experiences. It’s just that I’m aware of the old adage, “Be careful what you wish for”. What we desire is not always for our highest good.
And equally, what we desire may be entirely for our highest good and be fully aligned with Divine’s plan for us

Inner Journey:

THE GIFT OF JOY

“Joy is prayer – Joy is strength – Joy is love – Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. She gives most who gives with Joy.”
— Mother Teresa

Some people unconsciously believe it’s not okay to feel more joyful than the people around them. Out of a mistaken sense of caring, they squelch their joy and tune in to the sadness of the one they are with.

In truth, joy is one of the greatest gifts we can give to people around us. Those who are unhappy need our joy, not our sadness.

“Never miss a joy in this world of trouble … that’s my theory! … Happiness, like mercy, is twice blest: it blesses those most intimately associated with it and it blesses all those who see it, hear it, touch it or breathe the same atmosphere.”
— Kate Douglas Wiggin

A Note from the Universe

Let’s say you live by a great, abundant, life-giving ocean, though at a very primitive time in history, and so you are very, very hungry. And let’s further say that you’re given a choice: a wading pond full of fish or fishing lessons; enough fish to last you for several weeks, or the skills to tap an unlimited supply. Which would you choose?

Ah-ha.

But, what if learning to fish meant multiple solo attempts to test out your new skills, during which you’d likely feel anxious, uncertain, and a little confused? And that while your instructor would never be far, doting over you like a mother does a young child, you’d forget this, and sometimes feel all alone. Would you still choose the lessons?

Oh, re-a-l-l-y?

Can you see me, now?

Progress

“Frozen food is not progress.”

-Russell Baker

Technology has offered us some amazing conveniences – but at what expense? Do we hole up with our computers rather than socialize with our fellow travelers? Do we make a habit of eating fast food rather than enjoying the wholesomeness of something freshly prepared at home? Where, for the sake of “progress,” have we gone awry? When we remember the lessons we have learned in the past and build on them, then we make progress. It’s not necessarily about making life “easier” but about experiencing the beauty that is already there.

All Things, All Ways: Cat’s Angel Message for June 3, 2019

June’s Theme: Maintaining balance our in all areas of our lives. (material, spiritual, goals, dreams, self etc.) Create and invite good things through focus and faith while staying grounded and present.

In all things and in all ways, choice impacts virtually every element of our life. It bears repeating that even those things which seem out of reach of our choice are governed by how we choose to perceive them. – Mary Anne Radmacher

63:  The Ascended Masters are spending some time with us today. The AM’s are some of history’s greatest spiritual teachers and healers, (Buddha, Jesus, Kuthumi, Maitreya, Mother Mary, Saint Francis, Saint Germain etc) They work with everyone regardless of their religious path. Since the Ascended Masters were human at one time they have a better understanding of our desires, needs and feelings. They are encouraging us to reach out to them with any earthly matters or day to day concerns. Remember to ask out of love, not out of anger, hate or revenge. These harsh emotions can generate a negative landslide and no one wants to be caught in that. Asking for help to temper those emotions will be helpful and allow you to add some love into the equation.

Call on your favorite Ascended Master today or choose one to address specific concerns: Jesus and Moses can both help with Divine communication, and issues of faith. Buddha helps us to find balance and moderation while promoting inner peace and joy. Mother Mary for all types of healing, Saint John of God helps us overcome anxiety and depression.

Our Sacred Stones for today are Moldavite and Phenacite. Both of these stones help us to communicate with the Ascended Masters and other cosmic messengers. Both stones work on a high frequency and help you access your higher self so grounding is essential when working with them, or you could simply use Rose Quartz to help open your heart to divine love.

Bright blessings for a magickal day!

The First or Last Time: Cat’s Angel Message for June 2, 2019

June’s Theme: Maintaining balance our in all areas of our lives. (material, spiritual, goals, dreams, self etc.) Create and invite good things through focus and faith while staying grounded and present.

Look at everything as though you were seeing it either for the first or last time. Then your time on earth will be filled with glory. – Betty Smith

62:  The world is filled with many things; both the beautiful and the ugly. Sometimes it feels like we see more of the ugliness because that’s what the media and social media want us to see. These things are in your face and grab your attention, pushing the beautiful and good things to the bottom. Today the Angels are imploring us to keep our faith in the world and in people. There are millions of good people out there all trying their best to make the world a better place a little bit at a time. This attitude starts at home with you. Take a moment and offer gratitude for the blessings in your life and a prayer for the people in your world and the world as a whole. Surround them with love and ask that they be encouraged to see the beauty and goodness within themselves and in others.

Archangel Jophiel helps us to bounce back from negative situations by showing us all the good things that the world has to offer. She also reminds us  that goodness and beauty surround us all the time even though we must sometime look closely to see them.  Jophiel’s message is “Beautiful thoughts  help us to create beautiful outcomes.”  The Ascended Master Mother Mary surrounds us with her gentle energy and helps to fill our hearts with love and peace. She teaches us that compassion and forgiveness  are essential to healing ourselves and the world and in our quest to help others.  And the Greek goddess Iris teaches us that miracles of beauty can happen in a instant.. She says ” While there is beauty and clarity found in turbulence remember not to let these storms become a destructive flood. Look for the light and use it to ascend to a higher level of thought.”

Our Sacred Stones for today include the following:  The higher vibration of Kunzite can help to create a balanced partnership with the Universe as it opens your heart to receiving Divine love. Turquoise promotes creative expression which allows to see the beauty in everything while strengthening our communication process and tempering our words with wisdom. And lastly we have  Charoite. This multi-hued mineral is a stone of transformation. It helps to open our hearts to the concept of unconditional love and brings those energies forward. Charoite  enhances our perception and  helps to ground our spiritual nature into everyday reality and helps us to see ways we can be of service.

Clearing The mind Fog: Cat’s Angel Message for June 1, 2019

Clearing The mind Fog: Cat’s Angel Message for June 1, 2019

June’s Theme: Maintaining balance our in all areas of our lives. (material, spiritual, goals, dreams, self etc.) Create and invite good things through focus and faith while staying grounded and present.

Life cannot be lived fully or joyfully if our thoughts are focused on regretting the past, preoccupied with anticipating the future, or lost in the mind-fog of unconscious habitual behavior. – Jonathan Lockwood Huie

61:  Thoughts are powerful things that can bring us great joy, peace or inspiration to anxiety and despair, along with everything in between.  Sometimes it feels impossible to be super-positive all the time as some New Age “guru’s” say you should be. Negative thoughts happen (it’s part of our human nature) and when they do what’s most important is how you handle them. (Balance) If you hold on to them they breed more negativity and that’s not good for our mental well being. The key is in acknowledging these thoughts and looking for the underlying cause of them (be honest with yourself!). There is always a positive solution and the universe is here to help. By doing our best to turn negative’s over to our spiritual helpers we can gain valuable insight and new ideas. Essentially it frees up our “thought space”!

Archangel Raguel acts as a motivational coach when we feel down on ourselves. He shows us the way to bring balance into the areas of our lives where we need it most.  Ask for help and he can help you realize your full potential. The Ascended Master Buddha teaches us that the key to happy living requires moderation and balance in all things. This includes the important balance between giving and receiving. When we are balanced we find that inner peace is ours.  And Hindu goddess Lakshmi helps us to manifest and clear the way for all forms of abundance including home supplies and food. She says ” You are worthy of so many wonderful things! Let me help you to clear the way so that these gifts can be given to you. Make room and feel the lightness it creates within your spirit.”

Our Sacred Stones for today include the following: Amethyst calms and quiets internal chatter and “monkey mind”, which in turn enables us to relax and allow  grounding and balancing to take place. Black Obsidian not only protects it also helps to bring negative energy to the surface where it can be dispelled and provides support during times of change. It takes the “things” that we’ve hidden and composts them into positive soil to support out new growth, and  Larimar which helps to ease our obsession for material things and shows us how to put things into perspective so that you manifest what you really need. It shows us how to go with the flow.

Bright blessings for a magickal day!

Inner Journey:

REMEMBER YOUR SPIRITUAL SIDE

“The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.”
— Soren Kierkegaard

Reminding ourselves often of our spiritual natures truly changes the quality of our lives. It helps us relax, slow down, lighten up, and generally find more space and joy in life.

When we get down on ourselves or life, we can pull back and ask, “How might my soul regard this situation? What am I being invited to experience?”

This shift in perspective helps us let go of the resistance that always comes with negativity. As energy once again begins to flow, our outlook brightens.

“Spirituality is the sacred center out of which all life comes, including Mondays and Tuesdays and rainy Saturday afternoons in all their mundane and glorious detail. … The spiritual journey is the soul’s life commingling with ordinary life.”
— Christina Baldwin

“It is not my business to think about myself. My business is to think about God. It is for God to think about me.”

With Open Eyes: Cat’s Angel Message for May 31, 2019

May’s Theme: This month brings changes into your life. While change sometimes feels scary, it is a necessary thing for our overall growth. Be willing to embrace it and allow it to happen naturally and get ready for better things!

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open. – Jawaharlal Nehru

531:  As we close out the month of May look back and see what you have accomplished in this cycle. You may have done big things or small things but both are equally important. Our message today is a reminder to embrace the things you are good at and your divine given talents. These gifts bring us the confidence we need to create our lives and live our truth. You have done a good job with the changes life has given you. Don’t stress or worry simply trust in the process of life, allow things to unfold and when the right door opens you’ll know it without a doubt!

*Note: The month of June will be testing our overall balance so it’s best to be prepared, and a little grounding and centering can’t hurt.**

Archangel Jophiel, the angel of beauty, helps keep our thoughts on a positive level. She teaches us that there is beauty to be found in all things including within an the importance of embracing it. The Ascended Master Vywamus teaches us that change can be healing opportunity. This happens as we allow ourselves to let go of things that have held us back. Along the way we unearth talents that we had set aside, which will help us to move forward and the Greek goddess Persephone teaches us how to liberate ourselves from the things that are holding us back so that we can forge ahead on a new path. She tells us “Don’t be afraid to unearth what lies beneath. By shedding light in dark places we often find treasures we had forgotten. These treasure can form the foundations that you need.”

Our Sacred Stone for today is Agate. This humble stone is the perfect one for grounding and balancing our energies. It also helps by raising our consciousness to access our higher self and promoting the awareness and acceptance of who we are and where we want to go in life. It nurtures our spiritual growth and inner strength by helping us to the most of our life experiences.

Bright blessings for a magickal day!

Elephant Journal: A Morning Letting Go Ritual.

Every morning, I wake up.
And then I just let go.
I let go of the day before. Finally. It takes my slumber to do so.
And I let go of tomorrow too. Preemptively.
I look at what’s directly in front, that moment, those minutes.

Daily Tarot: The Hermit

Right and wrong are important, yes, but today equally or more important could be doing what helps the most or alleviates the most pain or difficulty for someone or something. It could be as simple as feeding a stray cat, but it could be much more complicated, especially if it involves someone you care deeply for. Try to see things clearly and don’t overreact about anything.

Today’s Deity: Kali

Kali is the Hindu goddess (or Devi) of death, time, and doomsday and is often associated with sexuality and violence but is also considered a strong mother-figure and symbolic of motherly-love. Kali also embodies shakti – feminine energy, creativity and fertility – and is an incarnation of Parvati, wife of the great Hindu god Shiva. She is most often represented in art as a fearful fighting figure with a necklace of heads, skirt of arms, lolling tongue, and brandishing a knife dripping with blood

Patheos-Pagan: Between Beltane and Litha: Now What?

I sadly say good-bye to Beltane every year, put my flower crowns away for a little while, and look towards Litha. Beltane can be such a joyous time, that the days between that celebration and Litha can feel like a bit of a slump. Not to mention, looking at June 1st with a sense of bewilderment: where has half the year gone?

Inner Journey:

APPLY WHAT YOU KNOW

“Knowledge of any kind … brings about a change in awareness from where it is possible to create new realities.”
— Deepak Chopra

As we evolve, we handle knowledge in different ways. We tend to move through these stages:
•We are unaware.
•We become aware of facts, data, information.
•We comprehend meaning from the facts.
•We can personally apply the information in our lives.
•We have wisdom – enlightened, we can lovingly apply our knowledge to world affairs.
•We live in truth.

How have you personally experienced a shifting of applying knowledge from one level to the next?

“More important than finding the teacher is finding and following the truth of the teaching….”
— Sogyal Rinpoche

“There can be no knowledge without emotion. We may be aware of a truth, yet until we have felt its force, it is not ours. To the cognition of the brain must be added the experience of the soul.”
— Arnold Bennett

Self-Realization
“Spiritual living is a fulfillment from moment to moment, in which the outer person is in a state of living rapport with the inner being and becomes an extension thereof.”

-N. Sri Ram (1889 – ?) Thoughts for Aspirants, 1972

A lot of times we tend to separate our “outer life” from our “inner life.” Maybe we’re working at a job we hate just for the money, while our heart aches for something more. Or we can’t seem to find that certain relationship we’re longing. We can come up with all kinds of justifications for these things. But there’s always a solution. To fully integrate ourselves, we’ve got to make our outer life an extension, or an expression, of our inner life. We’ve got to develop that rapport spiritually within so that we understand how much power we have to create anything in our lives.
