Both new beginnings and positive change require us to break the hold of outdated or bad habits in order to create essential new growth. There comes a time when we need to perform a self check-up. (that day is today) It’s important to periodically take a look within and find those dark and dusty areas that require clean up or a serious overhaul. Letting go of what no longer serves us in a positive way helps us to cordially invite new growth and opportunities into our lives. While sometimes it may feel like this isn’t the case, in all reality it is. In today’s society, people tend to want more than what they really need to live. It’s an ego thing. If you look around you can probably find a surplus of THINGS that you could do without. (I know I can) When the Universe tells us that our needs are being met it refers to basic necessities like money to pay our bills, food, shelter, clothing, etc. They are here to assist, not to provide excess. 123:  We are spending the day with the Ascended Masters. The message that we are receiving from them is pretty clear cut. “In order to receive new blessings (opportunities, relationships, enlightenment etc.) you need to make room. You do this by simplifying your life and letting go of the things and people who are leeching away at your energy, time or resources. If something no longer brings you joy or is  not for your highest good it’s time to cut the cords.” The letting go process is necessary for our overall growth as well as helping to pave the way for the good things that the Universe is sending our direction. While this process can be difficult it’s definitely worthwhile. Once you start this process you will see and feel a major shift in your energy and you will feel more empowered.
