As we become conscious as Souls, we walk our journey purposefully, embracing the reality of our earthly nature along with the truth of our divine nature.

But it is so important to be kind and gracious both outside our homes and inside our homes.

Some movies are so big, so fabulous, so rich with story and action and setting and wardrobe. “Gone With the Wind” is like that. Wow. It’s absolutely breathtaking, and a true classic. And some movies are smaller, just a more personal story, that doesn’t need much more than the people involved to get the point across. “Rain Man” is that kind of a movie. In the film, Tom Cruise’s character discovers that he has an autistic brother, played by Dustin Hoffman. The journey, how these two get to know each other, and get to understand themselves, and what is important in life, is just beautiful. It strikes a chord because we all have relationships in our lives from which we can learn about ourselves and our connection to the world.

I quote Gandhi quite a bit in WisdomNews. We can learn a lot from what this very wise man had to say. And we can also learn from how he lived his life. Fortunately, there is a beautiful movie, called “Gandhi,” which gives us some insight into his character. It’s amazing that in basically 3 hours we can see the kinds of things that Gandhi experienced. It gives us insight into our own nature, and our own potential for growth.
