This is interesting to think about – so many times we look at consistency as a virtue. And it is in some situations. But when we look at the “big picture” we see how things change, and so why wouldn’t our minds change with the times? For example, we might start out with an allegiance to a particular political party, only to change our minds and vote another way come election time. Is that being inconsistent? I don’t think so. The consistency comes with being true to ourselves.
