Today the Universe is telling us that it’s a good time to acknowledge those who love us and who are always there to listen or lend a hand when we need it. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone told someone else “Good job!” “Way to go!” or “Thank you for doing your best!”? Simple things like these inspire growth, create connections, and make lives better. Share some of your optimistic energy today with others for a win-win situation. It’s important to remember though that not everyone is there to support you and it is up to you to gently cut cords with those who take pleasure in knocking you down. When we allow ourselves to receive this negative energy from others we are harmed, mentally, emotionally, and energetically. A good support system lifts you up and by surrounding yourself with loving and supportive people it draws more of the same back to you and helps you to support others in turn.

88: By living in and embracing the “Attitude of Gratitude” we effectively draw prosperity and abundance into our lives. Even if we can only find that “One Good Thing” in a situation we can use it to create a foundation that can be built upon. The key lies in acknowledging all of our blessings and expressing our feelings of gratitude to what we have and what is offered. Small things add up as they help us to draw more positives into our lives. Remember that you must do the work to make things happen, however by sitting back and waiting you’ll miss out. Today the angels are sending us a big high five. Their message is “Embrace your gratitude and you will find that avenues will open and the gifts the universe will be sent your way!”

Iolite, also known as “Poor Man’s Amethyst” it is a stone of vision that assists our intuition and aids us in setting things in motion by staying true to yourself and your path while freeing you from the expectations of others. 87: We all come equipped with a personal guidance system called intuition and every day we are faced with choices that we must make for our personal evolution. When faced with these choices that will have an impact on your life ask yourself “Is this best for me right now?” Your inner guidance system will always be the voice of reason and will not steer you wrong. The key to intuition is learning to recognize it as opposed to the voice of the Inner Child who can often get us into trouble. Today the angels are asking us to fire up our intuition and embrace the strength and courage to make the best possible choices for our current situations. They are also telling us that it’s time for a balance checkin regards to giving and receiving. Make any necessary adjustments to avoid tipping the scales.

86: The “Attitude of Gratitude” carries over into today. If material concerns are bugging you then take a few minutes and give those worries to the angels. Do this as often as you need to (sometimes these things just keep knocking at the door) to bring you a little peace of mind. Fear and worry can block your energy so letting go of them or letting things just be can help clear the mind and help us balance. Remember to embrace gratitude on all levels and don’t cut yourself short by focusing on a single area. Free-flowing energy assists our manifestation process by attracting good things to us like a magnet. So focus on a positive outcome because good things are headed your way!

85: The “attitude of gratitude” is important when working to increase our flow of abundance. By abundance I mean on all levels, not just financial gain. However, we must also be open to both giving and receiving. By tipping the scales in either direction “we lose out and miss out”. The balance between giving and receiving combined with the attitude of gratitude creates energy. It flows out gathering things along the way and sends good things back to us, including prosperity and abundance (on all levels). Today the angels are asking us to take some time to acknowledge the good things that happen (Remember, there is always at least one good thing) The keywords for today are creative thinking and perspective. The creative thinking person combines the Attitude of Gratitude with new ways to solve the issue of lack. We can always call upon the Angels for assistance although we must remember that they will supply us with only what we need. We are being reminded today that our creative energy is enhanced through faith in ourselves, in our abilities, and in the Universe. If we desire more then we must do our part to get the manifestation process rolling. However, by working together with the Universe the wheels continue to turn and things move in our favor. Take an active roll in creating your life by staying open to receiving new ideas, and then let your creativity run wild!

Lammas is also known as Lughnasadh and is the first of the three pagan harvest festivals. It is considered a time of giving thanks as the sun’s strength begins to wane and the spring crops become ready for harvest. There is a feeling of abundance at Lammas, but it is important to remember the long winter that is to come and that many of the crops must be prepared and stored in preparation.
In English folklore, John Barleycorn is a character who represents the crop of barley harvested each autumn. Equally as important, he symbolizes the wonderful drinks which can be made from barley—beer and whiskey—and their effects.
When Lammastide rolls around, the fields are full and fertile. Crops are abundant, and the late summer harvest is ripe for the picking. This is the time when the first grains are threshed, apples are plump in the trees, and gardens are overflowing with summer bounty.

“‘Lughnassad’ means ‘the funeral games of Lugh’, referring to Lugh, the Irish sun god. However, the funeral is not his own, but the funeral games he hosts in honor of his foster-mother Tailte. For that reason, the traditional Tailtean craft fairs and Tailtean marriages (which last for a year and a day) are celebrated at this time. As autumn begins, the Sun God enters his old age, but is not yet dead. It is also a celebration of the first harvest. The Christian religion adopted this theme and called it ‘Lammas’, meaning ‘loaf-mass’, a time when newly baked loaves of bread are placed on the altar. An alternative date around August 5 (Old Lammas), when the sun reaches 15 degrees Leo, is sometimes employed by Covens.”

Your Irish: Festival of Lughnasadh
The Celtic festival of Lughnasadh (from the old Gaelic Lugh the pagan God and nasad meaning assembly), Lughnasa or in old English, Lammas ( meaning loaf mass) is celebrated around the 1st August or roughly halfway between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox. It celebrates the first harvest of the year and the passing of summer into autumn.

Raise the Horns: Why No One Loves Lammas (& Lughnasadh)
It’s Lammas time, and I see lots of posts on social media about bread and harvests, but there’s always a bit of a disconnect for many of us. I might try to bake some bread for the holiday, and my garden is showing signs of life;there are tomatoes on the vine, sunflowers approaching six feet tall, and I’ve got a few small pumpkins the size of at least softballs.
Embrace now as a joyful day. At the start, look in the mirror and see the joy that’s already in your eyes. Work with contentment, spend quality time with friends and family, and share your love of life with every stranger you meet. You don’t have to be overbearing and surprise people with your happiness. What you truly feel will shine on its own. The little things may bring you the most joy.
