711:  Today we continue our acknowledgement of gratitude and of our personal  journey thus far. Through the power of positive thought we are able to manifest some pretty amazing things. Sometimes the results are visible and sometimes they’re not. However, by by getting the proverbial ball rolling and our continued efforts to move forward we know that it’s simply a matter of time before we see tangible proof of the results. The Angels are letting us know how proud they are of what we have accomplished so far. The key is to gratefully acknowledge the tiny miracles when they arrive because over time they will complete the manifestation process.




 Archangel Haniel showers us with stardust, illuminating our thoughts and memories so that we can remember what magickal beings we truly are, which assists us in the creation process. The Ascended Master Vywamus teaches us that change can be healing opportunity. This happens as we allow ourselves to let go of things that have held us back. Along the way we unearth talents that we had set aside, which will help us to move forward and Nike, the Greek goddess of victory and success helps us to embrace the good things we have accomplished. She tells us “Do not be afraid to acknowledge the amazing things you have done but don’t rest to long on your laurels. Remember that your power comes through movement and momentum is lost through inactivity. Keep moving and you will be victorious!”




The Sacred Stone for today is Chrysocolla which brings the energy of universal love into our personal experiences. This blue and green stone brings our inner strength and self awareness forward which keeps our energy balanced and our creative side working at top level.

Is it a good day or a bad day? Well, I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. If we’re having a bad day we sometimes go out of our way to find more bad things (regardless of how small) to keep the “pity train” rolling. Take a deep breath and look for the “One Good Thing”  even if it has nothing to do with the current situation. This simple exercise clears the mind, and opens the windows on the pity train, giving us the breath of fresh air needed to change the landscape of perception.

79:  Our message today involves the giving of sacred service through our life purpose. For some this means offering themselves and their skills to the community or to the world. Yet for others sacred service revolves around their partner, children, family or extended family. Every day, whether we are aware of it or not we have the ability to make a difference or influence someone’s life in a positive way . The Angels are letting us know that we are on the right path and that even if we’re not exactly sure of what our life purpose is. The important thing is that we are making a difference in our world!

However, if you’ve been slacking and letting weeds grow on your path then the Universe wants you to know that it’s time to get started. It’s easier and less “stress-full” to clear as we go instead of putting it off and becoming overwhelmed. Our lives and paths are works in progress and they both require effort and elbow grease to make things happen. HOLLY LORE


Holly has long been associated with death and rebirth in both Pagan and Christian lore and plays an important part of the Winter Solstice. In one Arthurian tale Gawain (representing the Oak King battles with the Green Knight who is armed with a holly club that is the symbol of winter. Both the Holly and the Oak are important during the Summer Solstice. During this time the Sacred White Horse of Oak transforms into the Unicorn of Holly. In ancient Rome holly was thought to ward against lightning strikes and keep witches away. It was also a popular gift to give friends during the Saturnalia, which was celebrated during the Winter Solstice.


 


PLANT INFORMATION


Holly is an evergreen shrubby tree, easily recognized by it’s shiny dark green toothed leaves and blood red berries. This plant is considered POISONOUS and should not be ingested!!
