78:  Over the last few months we have been working to perfect our balance. This is essential to our overall growth and has a direct effect as we create our path through life an dour own spirituality. Balance  helps us to focus and see clearly the things that truly matter and put things like material gain into perspective. Today the Universe is reminding us that balance starts with gratitude and it’s a good time to do a little path maintenance. If you’ve been slacking and letting weeds grow on your path then  it’s time to get started. It’s easier and less “stress-full” to clear as we go instead of putting it off and becoming overwhelmed. 59: The personal work that we have been doing recently is helping to make our lives more stable. Through changes and the letting go process we are finding our balance and are gaining a clearer view of our life path. I like to visualize this path as being surrounded by vegetation. There are plants in various stages of growth, flowers, trees and of course…. weeds. The weeds represent things that we need to let go of. A we pull these weeds we are clearing the way for new growth. We may even find some of the thought seeds we had planted and forgotten about or bare spots where we can plant new things. The angels are simply asking us to do some personal gardening today. Set a goal of weed-plant-nurture to get your personal garden into shape!

211:  Today’s message is related to our habits. Habits, both good and bad, are created through our thoughts and actions. Both new beginnings and positive change require us to break the hold of outdated or bad habits in order to create new growth. There comes a time when we need to perform a self check up. (that day is today) It’s important to periodically take a look within and find those dark and dusty areas that require clean up or a serious overhaul. Letting go of what no longer serves us in a positive way helps us  to cordially invite new growth and opportunities into our lives.  Changing our habits is a work in progress and patience and confidence are required. Two words.

They flash in my head like dayglow in the dark and roll off my tongue at rapid speed, like a wakeful child barreling out of bed to the tree on Christmas morning.

Of the thousands of words that I could pull together to respond to benign actions, such as walking in when someone is walking out, unintentionally making someone wait, interrupting someone, walking in front of someone, taking “too long” to get my change out, or making a thoughtful decision at the café counter, it is these two words that spring to mind like a jackrabbit on a sunny spring day.

How well do we communicate with others? Often, when we are interacting with others, our attention in both speaking and listening is focused on meeting our own needs.


Our communication skills improve when we can open to be aware of the needs of the other person. When we listen, we can release the filters that serve our own needs for security and receive the message with our compassionate heart. And when we speak, we can choose words that the listener is able to receive. True communication happens when we harmonize with the other individual.

We always seem to be striving for MORE. More money, more time, more patience, more love… when we have so much and don’t even know it. Or if we know it in the intellectual sense, we don’t really believe it enough to live it. We have all of this abundance and more available to us – it is ours to claim and enjoy and celebrate! The beauty of our world, God’s world, is in us and all around us at all times. At some point, we come to respect that, and appreciate it, and know that it is plenty enough.
