In this passage, David Cooper writes about the shofar, the ram’s horn sounded in synagogue services during the Ten Days of Penitence. But there are a lot of different ways that ‘the sacred call’ may be expressed. The fact that we are pursuing our spiritual growth, that we are allowing ourselves to be more of who we really are, shows that we have heard that call! We know that life has meaning, and we are transforming our own lives to reflect that.

Compassion

Compassion is not limited to the human experience. Although, as intelligent beings, we can understand and express compassion and extend comfort to one another. My friend Maryanne sent me an article about a herd of elephants who appeared to be mourning one of their own who had died. They cried. I don’t know if elephants can understand with their minds just what they were experiencing, but they certainly were able to understand with their hearts. And we can empathize with them, we can project our own feelings of loss onto this situation and learn and grow from it.

Do not allow self criticism  to lower your energy, stay focused and move into a brighter future. Have faith in your own power and in divine abundance!

They say that true happiness comes from within, and this is true. One of the traits of a happy person is that they have found a way to leave the past in the past where it belongs.  There are a lot of people who don’t understand this and while they are fixated on their past, whether is was good or bad, they miss out on life and the amazing things the present has to offer. I’m not saying that you should lock it away altogether, save the memories, learn from your mistakes and see the truth of the past and use it to unlock your future!

1018: It’s time to spread your wings and allow yourself to grow! By embracing personal transformation we open the doors and pathways to new things like relationships and abundance.  By allowing ourselves this growth we make the statement that we are ready to move forward. Today the Universe is telling us that a prosperity window has opened for us. During this time our thoughts should be focused on bringing these blessings into our lives. Use your powers of positive manifestation  and creative thinking to make things happen. While this window will come around again make use of this one to set things in motion. Stay open to any messages that your receive especially the ones that tell you to take immediate action as it will be in your best interests!

 1016: As we embrace  transformation and personal growth it’s easy to allow worry and fear to seep into the edges of our consciousness. Do your best to keep your balance and don’t allow  material worries tip the scales. Our number today reminds us that we are cared for and all of our needs are being met. It’s okay to unload your concerns and fears into angelic arms as you allow yourself the freedom to explore new territory. With the moon in the waning phase it’s a good time review things you’ve done and let go of what isn’t working for you. This will help you in the new cycle that starts on Thursday by smoothing the way for personal evolution.

The Egyptian goddess Maat helps to protect us against the manipulation of others and helps to clarify confusing situations. Archangel Michael can assist us by cutting the cords that have been attached to us by others. These cords drain our energy and can promote personal disharmony and Ascended Master Buddha shows the path of moderation and balance as he helps us to embrace new growth. Our sacred Stone for today is Smoky Quartz. This crystal has an amazing vibration that gently grounds  our spiritual energy and neutralizes negative vibrations.

Rites of Passage: Cat’s Angel Number for May 12, 2017

512: The work associated with change can be challenging to say the least. However, the changes taking place are for the best and the best FOR us.  Today the angels are asking us to welcome the positive changes currently taking place in your life. Transformations do take time but the benefits are definitely worth it. Ask for help or guidance if you need it and remember that help comes in all forms and can arrive from any direction. Give yourself a BIG hug today, you deserve it!

If you need strength and courage to help you face these changes, any or all of the following angels or masters can help: Brigit helps us in being a loving warrior who holds on to their beliefs. Horus helps us in clearly seeing  what lies ahead. Archangel Michael gives us the courage to keep moving forward and Saint Germain helps us to find a cheerful and optimistic attitude and approach.
