There is an important lesson to be found in today’s quote. We can all find at least one irritating thing about the people we know. But why do these things bother us? If we take the time to examine the irritations, and be honest with ourselves, we most often find that what irritates us about others are things that we ourselves are guilty of as well. Talking too much, lack of compassion, being a know-it-all, being self absorbed, bragging and one upmanship, I think you get the idea. By being honest with ourselves and acknowledging these things in ourselves we gain a better understanding and tolerance of others. If we don’t like something about ourselves we can work to change it. Striving to be a better person can help us teach through example. Be an inspiration to others as well as yourself!

They are asking us to turn our emotional stresses,  fears and worries over to them.  When we engage in this powerful letting go process we feel better and we gain clarity. Invite your creative mind to come forward. This effectively promotes communication, improves our overall mood and opens us to new ideas as it stabilizes you energy. Ask for divine help when needed and don’t forget to ground, clear and center. Above all know that you are loved and cared for and let inner peace be your friend.

Maitreya, the Laughing Buddha, teaches us the importance of laughter and it’s healing power, and the Chinese goddess Kuan Yin surrounds us with loving energy and opens our ability to provide self care. Our Sacred Stone for today is Rose Quartz. I know we use this one alot, however this soft stone is a wonderful healer for overwrought emotion, stress and anxiety. It soothes mind, body and spirit like a fuzzy blanket or bubble bath.

How many times can a person get knocked down and get back up to try again? More than you think! We’ve talked about choices before…… remember? Hope is a choice that is available to us all. When it seems like life is conspiring against you there’s  a choice to make. Stay down and let it bury you or find that little voice of hope, make friends with it and pull yourself up. Creating your life is your responsibility and there will always be those who tell you “no”. Don’t listen. Nurture your seed of hope and help it to grow. It’s a gift that no one can take from you unless you let them. What choice will you make?

No matter which category you fall into both make a difference to the people around us. It’s really not how much you do but what you do that matters.
