1231: As the old year comes to a close we are receiving an important message from our Spirit Helpers: “You are amazing beings and you have grown in so many ways over the past year. This old cycle has been difficult and you have overcome many obstacles with grace and courage. As you enter into this new year shift your thoughts to a higher level of love and peace. This will be essential to your continued growth and your power as a creator. . Stay focused and confident and above all continue to have faith in yourself. By living your truth and claiming your authentic self you are fully capable of creating the life you desire for both you and your loved ones. Creation begins with you and spreads to those around you and continues outward like ripples in a pond. Enter the new year with a new outlook on life. 1229: As we enter the final days of December and get ready to say goodbye to the old year we are being given this gentle reminder. By working with the Universe and it’s helpers we learn that we are powerful creators in our own right. While we regularly receive assistance and guidance from people, our spiritual helpers and through opportunities presented to us, in reality WE are the creating force that ultimately makes things happen. It’s a combination of faith and self confidence that boosts our manifestation power and helps us create a new reality and opens the doors to new forms of abundance. Today we are being asked to embrace and acknowledge our divine partnership as well as our power to create for ourselves. Think BIG, Dream BIG and keep CREATING!

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Jeremiel is in charge of life reviews and changes. He can help you see everything that you have accomplished recently as well as the areas that need attention and helps us to let go of what we no longer need. He teaches us that by taking inventory of our lives we gain clear perspective of where we are on our path, which in turn helps us to make positive life changes. He removes our fear of change and what the future holds and replaces them with a sense of expectant excitement.

The Himalayan Ascended Master Babaji helps us to achieve the personal and spiritual growth necessary for the letting go process. He assists us in detaching ourselves from both material things and things that no longer serve us. He teaches us that letting go is a form of simplifying your life. It frees your energy so that you can work on what’s important so that new blessings can be received.

The Hindu Goddess Kali is a dark mother and goddess of death. Each time we let go of something that no longer serves us we are in truth embracing a “little death” and fear often accompanies the letting go process. One of Kali’s greatest lessons is through our worst fears lies the freedom we gain in conquering them. She says: “Do not allow yourself to become bogged down in what you perceive as lack. You are far wealthier than you realize and by getting out of your own way you will see the truth in this.”

Amethyst helps us to make decisions by promoting common sense and spiritual insight. It also enables us to set realistic goals and sets us on the road to personal achievement. It helps the thought process by providing focus and clearing the way to good decision making.

Chiastolite (aka Cross Stone or Andalusite) promotes the creative problem solving process. It enables us to release things that are no longer relevant to our current path and dispels any guilt we may have when we leave things behind. It helps us to make the necessary changes and brings harmony to conflicts that arise when we blaze new trails that others were not expecting or able to control.

Okenite helps clear away obstacles and teaches us the important lesson that the universe is filled with unlimited possibilities when we allow ourselves to face and adapt to change. It helps us to find our inner strength so that we can finish what we start.

December’s Full “Cold” Moon

The final full moon of 2020 seems to have fewer names than other months. However our ancestors called this moon the Cold Moon, The Bitter Moon, Long Nights Moon, and the Big Winter Moon. It is during this month that the nights are at their longest and winter blankets the land in it’s cold grip. This is probably where the name Long Nights Moon originated. Our Old English/Anglo-Saxon ancestors called it the Moon Before Yule. Both names are appropriate for this season. The time of midwinter is indeed long and the moon sits just above the horizon seemingly forever.

The Cold Moon honors deities like Minerva, Osiris, Athena, Persephone and Hades. It is the perfect time to finish tying up loose ends and working through any remaining darkness from the past year. Take time to acknowledge the hardships and struggles that you have gone through and embrace the cycles of life, death and rebirth. It is through the experience of the dark times that we learn sun and warmth will alway cycle around and we will survive and continue, changed in ways that aid our personal cycle of growth. The work we do during this full moon will help us to welcome the rebirth of the Sun with open hearts.

To celebrate this full moon try wearing the triple goddess colors of white, red and black and adorning yourself with rubies, moonstone, serpentine or obsidian.
